Buy thousands of these cheap bombers and leave your enemy in ruins.
About this creation
LIU Swarm Bomber
Does your enemy protect himself with anti-air guns or missiles? Counter these features with the Ludgonian Industrial Union's Swarm Bomber. Buy thousand or millions of these cheap, but reliable bombers and overwhelm your enemy's defenses.
The Swarm Bomber's simple design makes it cheap enough to buy in bulk. In fact, the LIU only sells the Swarm Bomber in lots of 50.
The Swarm Bomber consists of two sections. The upper section is the cockpit and engines, and the lower section is the bomb cradle.
Here's a view of the top of the upper section. One pilot controls the bomber.
The Swarm Bomber's engine is cheaply made, but it does give the bomber sufficient speed.
The lower section of the Swarm Bomber is the bomb cradle. It is of simple design, but it gets the job done. It is the most armored part of the Swarm Bomber to protect the payload from attack. Also, note the small cannon under the cockpit. It gives the Swarm Fight some defense from enemy air units. Although, the sheer number of Swarm Bombers should make the enemy's air units useless, as they could not possibly kill enough to stop the attack.
Here's a pic of the bomb cradle fully loaded. The Swarm Bomber holds twelve bombs designed to damage your enemy's infrastructure.
When the Swarm Bomber reaches its target, the bomb cradle swings backwards and gravity deploys the payload.
A Swarm Bomber pilot, wearing a large "B" for bomber, stands next to his payload. If the Swarm Bomber survives the attack....it can return to your carrier or base and quickly reload. Although, one swipe of thousands or millions of bombers usually does the trick.
The concrete ruins of a city overrun with 46,000 Swarm Bombers. Surprisingly, 26,000 of the bombers actually survived the attack. Why are their sharks in the city ruins? The LIU doesn't know...the enemy is a strange culture...
Note: Like the LIU Swarm Fighter, this ship is designed to operate in a SWARM! Fifty Swarm Bombers just won't cut it. The LIU recommends that all Swarm Bomber pilots have life insurance as the odds of survival are pretty low. The payload is not included in the price of the Swarm Bomber.
Ha, the Imperialist Alliance scoffs at such primitive technology. They do, however, commend you for testing a new concept. Although, it has also been noted that the scientist in charge of this project should be shot and replaced immediately. Recommendations include: replacing door thingy with a ridiculously large energy weapon or torpedo tube of some sort, and some pictures of cows. Do not question the IA, they could a mighty enemy.........or ally. *dramatic music*
