For the Insurgency World Challenge. Figured it lasted a bit longer due to the WC starting a couple weeks into January. Forgive me if I'm wrong.
About this creation

"Bruce, status?" asks Derek.
"Large squad of GI soldiers are advancing," says Bruce. "It's about time for the ambush."
"Haven't you realized a...slight problem?"
"What?"
"They have a tank."

"Well we have enough time to devise a simple, but effective plan."

The group of Marauders discussed their strategy for the ambush.

A couple of Aurelia troopers had moved in on the battle between the GI and the Marauders. One of them climbed inside the bank for a surprise attack...

...but the Marauders beat them to it.

Any GI troopers that scouted through the buildings were exterminated.

Only three official Marauders (Ones part of Marauder's militia) were left, attempting to outlast the battle.

The GI were high in numbers, though.

The Marauders had executed their plan, Mav had lunged for the tank...

...and made it. He busted the hatch open.

Unfortunately, the GI managed to claim several Marauder's lives before Mav could hijack it.

He was able to successfully hijack the tank,

...and crushed any GI soldiers that got in the way.

The next part of the Marauder's plan was put into action.

Mav threatens the Aurelians, and they fall back.

Spike and Shadow exterminate the rest of the GI.

They were merciless.

Derek scouts around for any more survivors.

Unfortunately, the survivor got to him first.

The GI soldier goes in for another blow,

...Derek kicks him back before he could get the chance.

They both lock in combat,

...and Derek pulls a trick.

He impales the soldier in the gut, and kicks him back.

But he wasn't the only survivor left.

...

...That's where Bruce came in.

The Marauders were successful in their ambush.

The build: Figless, vehicle...less

The store.

Interior.

Couple other shots of interior.

Top floor.

Bathroom.

Toilet and sink.

Small kitchen area.

Marauder's weapon mat. (If you've done the MW3 Special Ops Missions, you've definitely seen one of these :P)

Pipe and some greenery.

Bank.

Interior: bank windows.

ATM. (Couldn't find a better piece for the hatch. :P)

The alley, with replaced graffiti stickers. Looked better, especially with my Insurgency figure. (Has red skull)

Fourth Wall Commentary:
Sorry If I am late for the WC guys; I've been really busy. I had Science Fair and other school work, so I was not able to get this up sooner. Thanks for checking this out, and I'll cya all later.

I agree with some of the criticisms of this entry (a few confusing panels, colors didn't always make sense, etc), but that series of panels toward the end with the Derek and a GI survivor fighting...very cool and very well done! I may emulate some of your techniques in the future...they are quite good.

Quoting Kai Bernstein Great stuff! I love how the build seems to expand with each new picture. The buildings are made pretty well, but more details, particularly on the roofs, would be good. The tank and minifigures' colors are also pretty inconsistent, which was a little confusing at times. Still a build deserving of more likes, though!
Thank you, Kai! I'm glad you like the build; I'll be adding some details, too. Yeah, I know, the G.I.'s colors were inconsistent, which I choose to change in future builds. Haha, thanks!

Quoting Thomas of Tortuga Very nice work! From the thumbnail, I wasn't expecting much, but it really opened out! The build is very nice, as is all the foliage. You definitely have a grasp of texturing buildings, although the patterns could be more irregular. One thing that I've found helpful in large dioramas is to take as many pictures as you can without showing an edge of the scene. This makes the viewer fell as though they're there, instead of watching from afar.
Thank you, Thomas! Yeah, I could've worked on the buildings a bit more. It does, and I really try to do that. Unfortunately it's a bit harder when you have a side shot. Thanks! :)
