small droid
About this creation
This is a crab-droid-ish droid I built for a small contest on FBTB.
Backstory, clarifications, and some nerd talk :D : Ok, so the main thing you will be wondering is why is this in CIS colors. After the clone wars, many of the CIS designs and projects ended up in empire hands. As we all know, the best example is the death star, which was a grand plan of Dooku's, and also other droid designs. The Antlion was in prototype phase just before the abrupt end of the war, it had amazing durability and speed, but it sacrificed firepower. The two underpowered blasters in the front are compensated by it's buff body, powerful front legs for bashing and frontal attacks, and it's shield generator (like the droideka's) in the back. The front legs serve as heavy close combat weapons, and also as protection from ranged fire. While the stubby short rear legs offer stability and traction.

@Kyle ..errr .. why? it's my own design

This is quite clever. And whats more, you have stumped me on how to connect the whole thing in the middle. Anyways, its clever, original, and looks professional so therefor 5/5.

Great animal inspired creation mate. The poseability for such a small moc is fantastic. As I write this review, the average score is 3 1/2 smileys, which is leaving me a bit perplexed. What retards cannot recognize creativity when they see it? And why are so many boxy spaceships getting 5/5??!! |

Wow! This is probably one of most impressive medium-ish sized droid designs I've ever seen! I love the compact, yet expandable build! Great job. |

I've been amazed by this droid since I saw it in the FBTB forums. The color scheme and exo-force decals are awsome, and the construction is brilliant. I plan to make an Antlion for my collection now. |
