The Tourney Round 2: Chi Warrior vs. Halhi141
My entry for Round 2 in the Tourney!
About this creation
My opponent's entry.
My bracket: Foot Combat
Category:-Gladiator
You were traveling to the next Tourney event but you were ambushed by a large orc tribe. Resistance to the capture was futile and you have been brought to an arena of some sort. You are given a flimsy sword and no shield. The concept is simple. Defeat all of the enemies and champions sent into the arena (all orcs or goblins or other weird creatures) and be released, or die by their hands. Obviously you want to win, so show your character surviving against the hoard of orcs to gain your freedom (this can be done as a still MOC with no action, just a pose).
As an added bonus, you may include your opponent's minifigure character since he was captured as well. Just make sure that you both survive. At the deadline, the orcs will decide who will be freed.
Guild: Crimson Knights

Dark: Ooh, olive cheese wedges!

Orc: Grunt!

Orc: Ooh, olive cheese wedges!
Dark: I know, right? Hey, wait a minute!

I picked up the sword the orc had dropped, and...

...hit him on the head.

Dark: Better get going.

Orc 2: GRUNT!

That orc hit me in the head hard.

The second orc put his sword down and pulled out chain from his pocket.

He tied my hands together with those chains.

Then, he shoved me forward while the other orc got up.

I came to when the second orc picked me up.

Dark:Gah!
Two men rushed by, and one of them had lost an arm.

The man with no arm jumped over a skeleton with the second man following him.

1st man: Please! Stop!

With one well aimed blow, it was finished.
Dark: Why would you do something like that?!?!

2nd man: So, I defeated all of them. Am I free to go now?

Orc 2: Soon.
2nd man: Very well.

The first orc lunged at me with the swords.

He knocked me down and broke my chains.
Orc 2: Good work.

Dark: What is wrong with you? Why, I'm going to kick you from here to the ocean you smelly orc!
Orc 2: Calm down and pick that sword up. You're going to fight for freedom.

Dark: What?
Suddenly, an orc jumped out of the bushes.

He struck with his mace and slammed my hand off!
Dark: You just earned yourself a painful death!

I kicked him away and picked up my sword. The flimsy one that is. I'm a right-handed sword fighter so this would be uncomfortable.

I sliced his body in half and sent his top half flying.

Another orc appeared behind me with his sword.

My sword was at his throat in an instant.
Dark: Don't move.

He got a kick into the river from me.

His body slowly sank in.

This time, a human jumped out of the foliage.

He put his shields out and prepared to slam into me.

I barely managed to block his attack. This guy was tougher than the others.

He slammed me into a rock.

I flipped around and kicked.

My foot landed on the first orc and sent him flying, with his sword aimed at the man's heart.

Two down, 2 more to go.

Dark: Am I free now?

Orc 2: No, a few more challenges await. Now, kill this man.
Man: WHAT?!

Dark: Sorry.

His head was gone instantly.

The man's body fell forward and the orc jumped back.

Orc 3: Sir, This one has past the challenges.

Dark: Halbert?
Halbert: Need a hand? ~snicker~
Dark: Grrr...

I kicked a heavy chain at the two orcs and they went straight into the river.

Halbert: Good job!
Dark: Yeah right.
Halbert: Man, you have an attitude today!

I ran forward and started to jump over the river.

Halbert: Wait!
He took a shield for himself from the pile. Then, he picked up a piece of armor.

Halbert: Here, catch!
Dark: Why do I need this?
Halbert: You never know.

Dark: Fine. Happy?
Halbert: Yep. Lets go.

I did an amazing backflip over the river while Halbert tripped over rocks with the clumsiness he got from the Average Gnomes.

Halbert: HELP!!!

Dark: Sheesh. What's wrong with you?
Halbert: Nothing. Thanks for helping me.

Halbert: Let's go!

ROAR!!!

Dark: What was that?
Halbert: I don't know. Lets check it out.

I jumped over the river and started running.

A dragon appeared out of the cave and blew Halbert out of the entrance.

Halbert: Ow.

I jumped onto the head of the dragon and stabbed a sword in its neck.

The dragon slammed into the bushes with me.

Halbert: Woah! Hey look, olive cheese wedges!

I turned around and looked at the cave again. Something wasn't right.

ROAR!!!!

A huge dragon came out of the cave this time. I'm guessing the other dragon was its baby and this is the mother dragon.

It turned around and came in for a strike.

Dark: What kind of wings are those?
Halbert: DUCK!

The dragon's wings extended to its full length, revealing razor-sharp tips.

Those wings hit me in the chest. Hard.

The dragon turned around again, aiming for Halbert this time.

Now I'm happy I listened to Halbert. That armor saved my life.

Quickly, I jumped up and kicked a wedge at the dragon.

That wedge knocked the dragon unconscious.

She crashed into the cave entrance.

I leaped onto the mother dragon's tail.

As I got close to the head, I saw some writing.
I read it out loud.
Dark: Awake dragon and become my friend. Stay with me until the end.

The dragon's eyes started glowing.

ROAR!

Halbert: Look at what I did! I'm amazing!
Dark: Hmph.

The dragon was ours to control.

Dark: Only one of us can go on. Who will take the dragon, you or me?

~Who will continue?~

Quoting Arcimedes BladeBrick I think if I can say one thing I really like about your models, you have an AWESOME sense of humor. The water behind the cave also is a nice touch. The dragons wings are BEAUTIFUL, using the blades...I'm going to try that some time...
Thanks! The wings really are cool, right?

Quoting Graham Gidman The water technique you used in the cave is brilliant, but the shear size and level of detail in your opponent's entry won me over. I'm sorry, but he's got my vote. Better luck next year!
Thanks anyways.

Quoting David FNJ Your opponent's landscaping earned him my vote. Try varying the ground level of your landscaping and make the river have a less blocky curve and it'll take this up a notch. Good luck with the other judges.
oh well. I don't have a lot of pieces so my landscaping is pretty limited.
