Here it is, after several months work, my Batcave, my largest and most time consuming creation yet! I have taken inspiration from various representations in movies and comic books and this is what I came up with. Now, without further ado, a guided tour presented by none other than Bruce Wayne!
About this creation
Alfred Pennyworth: Master Wayne, you have a visitor.
Bruce Wayne: A visitor? Oh, yes, the tour. Well, come along - I haven't got all day...
Here is my Batcomputer, one of the most powerful pieces of technology on the planet, where I can research supervillains and play the latest videogames.
The Bat-Lab, where I study evidence left at crime scenes - I'm working on quite an interesting case at the moment.
That flask contains a hallucinogenic serum of Joker's.
Next, we have the helipad...
...and the Batcopter (I'm sensing a pattern in these names), my aerial transport.
On the side platform, I installed a memorial for my fallen ally, Jason Todd.
Let's move on...
Aha, a familiar sight - this is the new and improved costume area , with an updated winch system.
On the table are a Grapple Hook and a pair of Shock Gloves, courtesy of Electrocutioner.
On the top platform is a Batarang rack and the suit collection area.
Here it is.
Back on ground level lies the Batmobile , the pride of my car collection.
A path runs from here to the rest of the cave.
Here we have one of Poison Ivy's carnivorous plants, salvaged from one of her breakouts.
The trophy area, home to my finest souvenirs and memorabilia.
On the desks you can see Harley Quinn's hammer, a Freeze Gun, kryptonite ore, an ancient samurai sword, playing cards and Catwoman's cowl and whip.
On the shelves I keep Two-Face's coin and pistols and Scarecrow's glove.
Looming over it all is the Giant Lincoln Penny from the "Penny Plunderers" case.
Suits of armour from various eras (anyone who can guess the crowbar reference gets a cookie :P).
Finally, a part of the tour I've been waiting an hour for...
The Bat-L.A.V. 3000!
See you next time!
The Batcave was made on a 42 x 42 baseplate:
I tried to stick with the same style throughout the cave:
Runway without Batmobile:
Carnivorous plant (I am very proud of my design!):
Helipad with Batcopter:
Memorial (isn't Space Police great?):
My water technique underneath the helipad:
Penny (my mosaic skills aren't that great):
Batmobile and Batcycle:
Close up of memorial:
The Bat-L.A.V. 3000, compete with Bat-cistern and chain:
