Built by Field Technologies the Black Wyrm is designed as an anti-tank/ anti-mech air vehicle. Armaments include an anti-infantry dual gattling gun that hooks into the pilots helmet and points where the pilot looks, 2, 4 pack "Lark" Rockets, 2, 2 pack AGM "Falcata" missiles, 2 40mm "Reaver" cannons, 2 AAM "Cavalier" missiles, and 1 tail mounted 30mm "Mjolnir" gattling cannon. Directly behind the cockpit is a missile bay that can hold multiple types of munitions. For defense beyond the thick armor plating are 2 chaff and flare launchers underneath the 2 tail booms. Powered by 2 large super turbine engines the craft can only reach speeds of about 250 mph due to the weight of all the weapons therefore it almost always has an escort of quick strike air vehicles to cover it as it takes out the big guys. The engines also have heat sinks on the exaust to help reduce its heat signature and improve performance. For anti-armor missions nothing compares.
About this creation
Close up profile of the chopper, the "Reaver" is clearly visible.
Good overall vierw of the chopper.
Not a really good picture, plus I forgot to put down the missile bay hatch.
More of the back end.
Bad picture of the missile bay.
The main feature of the chopper is the tail mounted gattling cannon. It can move in multiple direction thanks to the ball-joint and you can see the 2 ammo drums on the armature.
Bottom missle bay hatch, you can kinda see my landing gear.
And finnaly the pilot, generic officer in generic Army air core in a not so genric strike vehicle.
I built this thing long before bootcamp which was 26-Oct-06 and this was posted on 21-Sept-07 so it is probably over a year and half old at this point making it the second longest put together creation I have ever had.(The longest built was built in 1999 and is still in storage in muliple boxes beacuse it's a combiner ship and I didn't have the heart to destroy it so it's Washington state with a bunch of other stuff). Back on track though, the inspiration came form a Ghost in the Shell S.A.C. episode that featured a chopper with a gattling gun tail and I knew I could build one better, and I did in my opinion. Before I joined the military my old building philosophy was if I could put a weapon's system in than do it, now I am more conscience of power to weight ratios and leaving space for mechanics like real world machines. This obviously reflects my older philsophy. The missile bay is empty because I didn't have enough pieces to build enough missiles to fit in there. The landing gear is underdevolped as well and that has been issue with me for a long time, but despite all of it's flaws I just love the mean look of it and has easily become one of my proudest creations. It was destroyed on Chrismas leave, Rest in Pieces : 17, December 2007

No they wouldn't, they are timed so they spin inbetween each other.
Reply To A.J.:
The 2 rotors elimante the need for a tail rotor and provide more power and lift to handle the extreme weight of a fully loaded death machine. The dual rotor principle has been proven, just look at the Huskie.
Now that is a badass copter right there. Very agressive looking and the twin rotor design is brilliant! I like how you strive to add a bit of realism, thanks to your job knowledge. I've been dreaming about making a heli for a while; this one is definately one of the best I've seen.
its totally awesome, the detail and color is amazing nad the 2 chopper/spinny things (what their called suddenly blanked) are awesome, this creation is amazing (and as always the weapons systems are awesome)
