This is an entry to Caleb's Minifigure Contest. I am submitting figs for all three categories here in this Post: Medieval/Fantasy, Modern Combat and Futuristic/Sci-Fi.
A Picture of all three vigs. From left to right: The Lion-Hunter, The Crow, and the Red Guard.
The Lion Hunter. The vig is 10x10. You see a tree, foliage, and the Lion-Hunter.
The Lion-Hunter is not what you expected, huh? No, he doesn't hunt lions: He is a lion.
Next up: The Crow. He is a gangster who always wears an ugly mask when he enters any big building (yes, that is an orc-forge-orc's head backwards). You can see the sliding doors closing behind him as he steps into a bank or otherwise important building.
The Crow is actually very simple, but he has a really nice feel...
Other side view.
The vig. Fairly simple, but the fig is the focus (that could be on my homepage as a quote soon).
The Red Guard is guarding an entry into a facility, over a deep ocean.
A closer look shows some nice minor greebling on the wall.
The Red Guard is a strange combination: Captain Panaka's helmet, Christmas-jango's torso (the mistletoe is a badge of honor), and the legs from the red prince from Kingdoms...
Front view. Notice how the red plating really matches up from torso to legs?
Side view. Very majestic, right?
The vig. I really like it: The plates under the blue-transparent one are all purple. It gives an alien feel.
A closer look at the walkway. It is modeled after a water technique by legopard.
The three vigs without figs (it rhymes!!!).
The three figs without vigs.
Well, I hope you enjoyed my three little vignettes and weren't bothered by my amateur editing. I had a lot of fun with the figs, and I love all three of the vigs, too. I hope you like it!
