A modified racing monoplane.
About this creation
This fast, single-seat racer is inspired by the pre-war racers such as the Supermarine S.6B, precursor to the renowned Spitfire. Like those planes, this is a small, light racing plane, capable of speeds of 655.8 km/h. Although slower than newer jet fighters, the Golden Condor-style planes are far easier to produce and maintain, and carry two small machine guns as defense.

Golden Condor Monoplane

Parked. This plane is a heavy modification of this biplane.

Golden Condor Monoplane

The pilot, looking cool by the wing. (Johnny Thunder forever! :P)

I think I'm beginning to like cows too much :P

Thanks for viewing!

Quoting Michael Rutherford Your stuff rocks man. I like the way you just use whatever color you like. To heck with camouflage. You WANT the enemy to see you coming. Your MOCs all have a distinct style, almost chibi, but not quite. It's unique. Never mind what anybody says about "good enough" or "not good enough" for this game or that game. Your stuff rocks, so keep building and keep posting. I just wish you and the other good builders would focus on NEW stuff and not post all this re-cycled stuff from earlier games. Still, legal is legal, and this is a cool plane, so... Attack!
Hey, in MY Lego room, this would be camouflaged perfectly :D Yeah, this style is what I love to build, and I don't want to make a perfectly accurate T-48 whatever in LDD. I want to have fun and make something cool. Oh, and as for the old mocs? They're basically placeholders so I don't get massacred while I build new versions. I've got a mech and two zeppelins in the pipeline already :P

nice design..

A little overrated for a fresh like, but definitely a good build. :P I like the plane's design, though the wings/fins could use some tiles to lower the contrast between them and the smooth fuselage. Some layered landscaping would also be nice, but I understand that isn't the focus. :P

Quoting J D Excellent, how did you edit the picture so it didn't show any bricks holding up the plane? Which program did you use? It looks very cool!
I use GIMP for all my editing.

Quoting Jack K Nice and compact design. Looks like a plane easily capable of tight maneuvers.
Thanks. That's the look I was going for.

Quoting Achintya Prasad Nice work! Much better than the original set, I might addd :-D I look forward to more aircraft from you!
Awww, thanks! It's a pretty fun theme to build in, that's for sure!

Quoting Matt Bace Nice job! You've captured the shape of the 1930's-era racing aircraft very well -- bottle-shaped fuselage with small wings and small, low-drag control surfaces (which made flying those planes a risky proposition, to say the least).
Yes, definitely. I've always been fond of the racing airplanes from that area, and this was pretty fun to make! (Now to build a Gee Bee...)

Thanks, Alex! I'm realizing just how much a base adds aesthetically :P

Thanks! Your planes are actually greatly improved from when you first joined- don't be hard on yourself ;)

Quoting David Roberts I really like the colours that you've used in this build and how your palette is all reds and browns. I think the title photo looks super, with the Condor soaring over the desert and the cattle.
Thank you! I'll be using this palate again, as well as making some more flying photos of my airplanes ;)
