Lightning fast, immensely destructive and incredibly cunning, Ozahkura has cut a deep score through history as one of the most powerful individuals ever to come from the Matoran Universe without relying on The Weave.
The creature known as Ozahkura once existed as two distinct beings. One was a suit of intelligent armour created by the Great Beings. The other was an inhabitant of the Matoran Universe whose identity has been lost of the ages. This being uncovered the armour in a hidden vault in the Shadowcaverns, the network of forgotten access tunnels used during the Matoran Universe's construction. It proceeded to wear it, fused with it, and the new entity named itself Ozahkura.
Ozahkura's curious powers stem from the armour's original function: subduing and controlling rebellious Toa. He is able to negate a toa's natural ability to manipulate the elements and is incredibly resistant to most elemental attacks, with the glaring exception of powers stemming from the Ice arc of the Weave (Psionics, Ice and Void). That said, Ozahkura has rarely made an enemy of any toa and has usually helped their cause. He has made many other discoveries of Great Being artefacts since.
After an encounter with Vlidrakh on the island of Daxia, Ozahkura was introduced to and became a member of the Brothers in Arms. The BiA were a ragtag group of mercenaries, though with a stricter moral code and sense of duty that set them apart from the Dark Hunters. They operated out of a small compound on Xia.
Ozahkura operated with them sporadically (while not searching for more lost artefacts of the Great Beings) through the years that followed, until the Destiny War when the BiA joined the side of the OoMN to fight the forces of Teridax. Following their victory the BiA found little work besides rebuilding, which they felt was not a good use of their abilities, especially the ever restless and eccentric Ozahkura. When the Knights of Spherus Magna were founded, every surviving member of the BiA joined them.
It was not to last, however. Ozahkura found he hated the regimented and orderly structure of the KoSM and set out on his own, continuing to track down lost artefacts, spending most of his time within the buried ruins of the Matoran Universe. When Gringat completed the chronodermic engines of Korrothis, Ozahkura offered his services as part of Gringat's mission. His knowledge of Chronodermis became invaluable as he voyaged with many across the stars to Atmos Magna.
Ozahkura's whereabouts now are unknown. Indeed, even his existence is unknown to the descendants of the original mission, the Akonians. Thanks to the chronodermis lacing his armour, Ozahkura exists outside time and may well exist somewhere within the Drakus System, hiding in secret... or perhaps even in plain sight.

Ozahkura is the self-MOC (kinda) of John The Imaginative, an old friend of mine from back in the BRC days. He's (John, not Ozah) recently been released from hospital after an operation, while he was there I thought I had time to make Ozahkura. Turns out he took a little longer than I expected, but I hope John likes him even so. :)
Ozah's tail isn't quite as long as the SIX FEET John managed on his version, but alas I didn't quite have the parts to make it that long. The tubes have been cut vertically to fit around each HF limb, but apart from that this MOC is purist. He was hell to pose during the photoshoot. The weight of the tail kept pulling Ozah off his feet.
The feet are a design by LBPfan21 on DeviantArt. He's a pretty cool dude and I really recommend checking out his page! Several MOCs of his have appeared in our Broken Axles Livestreams already :)
That's it for now then. I have a couple of small MOCs on the way from ages back, but this is pretty much it as far as new builds went for christmas. I'll be heading back to University tomorrow, and right into a set of exams that loom close on the horizon. Wish me luck! And keep on MOCing. I'll be watching you guys here. :)
Quite a beautiful build you have here Grinny. While the arms work well in their simplicity, I don't like the small lower leg portion, it looks too bare. And the first set of knees are meh with shaping. But the way you built the head is splendid, I've always wanted to use a Bohrok shield as a face but never got it to work. Nice use of the metru head in there. My favorite parts are the torso and upper legs, the shaping there is simply beautiful, from the back and the front. The bohrok feet on his shoulders looks interesting, they add a weird different shaping to it from the norm, like intense shoulder blades. Well, there was my sporadic piece of input. Enjoy.
This is a fantastic MOC, I really like the build and the backstory. The part about the suit being for the subduing of rebellious Toa was quite cool. The tail and the head are my favorite parts of the MOC. Anyway, happy MOCing, and good luck on your exams.

In some sets, you are instructed to cut tubes and such to size, so as a purist, I wouldn't be so quick in shunning your vertical cut technique. I'd probably do it after a long internal debate.
Aye. I'm the same on the purism front, but my reasoning is this: First, it looks good. Second, I have loads of silver tube. Third, I can get more silver tube if need be, and Four, I have every intention of re-using these for future MOCs.
