T18 Tank Destroyer - Boxtank Jr.
The T18 was an American Tier II tank destroyer.
About this creation

A close up of the gun mantlet.

Here's the rear of the tank.

The hatches do open, and this time there is an interior! Bear in mind that I have no idea what the actual interior looks like, so this is just me guessing on logical positions. The two green seats are for the gunner (right) and the loader (left.) They are positioned just behind the gun mantlet, and both seats rotate with the gun.

These are the seats for the commander and the driver. The driver's seat is the one with the levers in front of it, while the commander's seat is above that. You can see the gunner's seat to the far left.

This back hatch opens as well!

The gun has a traverse from here...

...to here.

HISTORICAL DATA:
Length: 4.33 meters
Width: 2.47 meters
Height: approx. 2.5 meters
Weight: 13.2 tons
Armament: 75mm howitzer

The T18 was originally designed as a self-propelled gun for supporting infantry. It was armed with a 75-mm Howitzer installed in a spacious, fully enclosed armored hull. The development was started in October 1941 and finished in May 1942. The project was abandoned due to the emergence of the more advanced M8. (source: World Of Tanks Wiki)

MODEL DATA:
Brick Count: 875

So, with this model I tried a completely new approach from my previous models. Here, I made an actual interior. This made the model feel a bit more complete in my eyes rather than it just being a shell, and also made the model's brick count a bit higher. It also had the effect of making the hatch actually open into something other than empty space.

The gun mantlet took the most time. I had to get a design that both a) looked good and b) was functional. I think I managed to get it to work properly, and I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

Enjoy!

If I may, this is one of the cuter tanks in the game... Honestly though, it needs to be renamed the T18 Seal Clubber. I got my Mastery Badge within the first two games.

If you had dark green bricks, this would look even better! (I think the T18 is green...)

Quoting Loek Marcus Nice work, though this is the most ultimate seal-clubbing tank in WoT. Doesn't really let me try out the Light Mk. VIC (although you do get records in Sharpshooter medals). Anyway, neat work, from this stage on you can build the M8A1 and T82 on the same chassis.
Thanks! Yeah... I learned that the hard way. I ended up selling my VIC. It just... wasn't that good. In terms of Lego, I've finished the T82 and am nearly done with the M8A1. They've both been fun builds, especially (as you pointed out) because I don't have to do any new tracks or measurements. Then, on to the T40...

Quoting Dr. Monster Great looking MOC. The wheels and gears look super.
Thanks! I'm using the same chassis on my upcoming T82 model as well, which should save me some time...

Quoting Claw Paradox Nice job here! This tank just smashes other tier IIs into the ground.
Thanks! and indeed it does. Troll armor and a derpy gun that one-shots most other tier IIs. Gotta love it.
