Medium class seek and destroy bio-mech unit, designated Hunter.
About this creation
"The military force known as the Crusaders Noir utilise much weaponry in order to achieve their goals, but some of them aren't all machine.
The Hunter is a medium unit, a seek and destroy bio-mech, a machine with organic parts designed to be quick and lethal. Using multi-levels of visual tech, it can see through solid rock and many metals aswel as utilise standard military viewing technologies such as heat and night vision.
It's tri-limbed design allows the rear section to be more powerful in providing forward momentum as the point of take off is from one spot only and not shared between two that comes with quadrupeds.
The Hunter utilises a light machine gun with an inordinate amount of ammunition allowing for it to sustain fire for lengthy periods of time. Many Hunter units deployed at once can easily get ahead of the main force and hold down enemy positions with overlapping cover fire."
So I decided to start adding additions to my five team of Crusader Noir minifigures. I already have five more planned to complete them for ten different units, but until then (and probably continuing afterwards) I'll come up with some tech for them from time to time. Basically, I'll be starting this off like a series, designing lots of different stuff for the Crusaders force.
The easiest way to picture the Crusaders Noir force is to think of them like the Combine from the infamous gaming series Half Life, particularly Half Life 2. They are a ruthless fighting force that mainly use bio-tech in their vehicles/larger, non-humanoid units.
This unit was not inspired by the Hunters from the game but from a head concept in an animation, that's where the rounded, red eyed head comes from. The body came afterward and just seemed to flow well.
I may go for a heavy unit next as this I consider 'medium'.
