About this creation

A side profile!

A view from behind, showing the recoil spade and gun stuff.

A close up of the interior of the gun carriage.

A close up of the recoil spade.

A closer view of the front armor. Yes, the hatches open, but there's literally nothing inside.

The turret rotates from here...

HISTORICAL DATA:
Weight: 58 tons
Length: 9.8 meters
Width: 3.4 meters
Height: 3.2 meters
Armament: 240mm howitzer M1

The 240 mm Howitzer Motor Carriage T92 was self-propelled howitzer developed by the United States of America during World War II.
The 240 mm M1 howitzer was mounted on a slightly modified Heavy Tank T26E3 (later the "Heavy Tank M26 Pershing") chassis - it used an extra bogie wheel, to bring a total of seven. A limited production run was ordered in March 1945, and the first test model was finished in July of that year. Total production of the T92 was five. A similar vehicle was also built in conjunction with the T92, the 8in Gun Motor Carriage T93. The T93 mounted the longer 8in M1 gun.
Limited numbers of both 240mm HMC T92s and 8in GMC T93s were going to be used in Operation Downfall, the planned invasion of the Japanese mainland. However, after the Japanese surrender on 14 August 1945, the T92s and T93s were not shipped to the Pacific Theater of Operations. (Source: World Of Tanks Wiki.)

MODEL DATA:
Brick Count: 2,234
Time spent: approx. 8 hours, maybe more.

It's a bit misleading to say this is the largest tank I have ever done. It's certainly got the most parts, and is certainly more complex, than the M55. However, in terms of sheer size (both the model and historically) the M55 is actually bigger. That's why this model seems a bit small. Also, a quick note: yes, I know it's a bit too skinny. By the time I noticed it, I'd already spent a good chunk of time on it and was simply unwilling to rebuild the whole bloody thing.

Oh, like you wouldn't.

Anyways! This model, all in all, was a fun build. Not enormously tedious, and the tracks didn't give nearly as much trouble as the M55s did. One thing that got me annoyed was when I had to rebuild the interior of the turret in order to make it as spacious as the real thing. This, however, proved to be less frustrating than I expected, and didn't give me huge trouble.

Enjoy the model!

(Also, I'm finished with the American artillery! Whoopie! Now it's time for tank destroyers...)

Quoting Claw Paradox Nice work! you should check out some of Lego 4 Life's MOCs. He's literally done half the tanks in the game, and they are quite good.
I have seen some of his builds... and holy cow. They're really good. Also, thanks!
