Industrial Pumper for Studdsville
About this creation

I'm proudly presenting SVFD Industrial Pumper 1.

Its a 2014 Scania R730 6 man cab, 8x8 chassis, with custom bodywork by Fire Technics in Ostend, Belgium.

The rig feautures a 3500 gallon L shaped water tank and 150 gallon foam tank.
The pump can be operated from the cab or from the rear, is set to 2250 GPM and has CAFS.

The bumper nozzle and the body mounted Snozzle or HRET are both foam capable and can also be controlled from the cab.

The hosebed of the rig is placed in the rear 2 compartments, also with 2 high pressure, high volume discharges.

The middle compartments each hold a hosereel and some basic Engine equipment.

The front compartment on the driver side holds some hand tools, adapters, connectors aswell as a set of tunouts for the driver/engineer.

The front compartment on the officers side holds a set of Holmatro rescue tools and forcable entry tools.

Bruceville Fire Equipment will provide equipment and maintenance for the rig.

Credit to CC for the cab, and to Paulo for the Snozzle and motivating me.

To test the Snozzle/HRET's piercing nozzle, the LFC got a junk fire Engine from a used fire truck dealer who was very happy to get rid of that "piece of s*** engine", and the nozzle test was very succesfull.

This rig will be built in bricks and delivered in the next few weeks.

Quoting sam the first i just read in other MOCs what's going on with you and adam. not cool. fire response team (at least here in the UK) are possibly the hardest working team out of the emergency services and get paid the least, and if someone's taking the micky out of them, then it's completely understandable. i don't mean to offend either ends here, but we'll see whose crying when 'someone's' in a burning building.
I have no grudge against Adam, let me be clear on that, I only find his behaviour unacceptable. And I tried to talk to him normally, but he mouthed off to me, so I went to his level, and he still doesn't get the message that his behaviour is not what I normally expect from kids his age, so I made a joke out of it. And yes all emergency service members work hard, and are severly underpayed.

Quoting Sven Jagdmann Well Martijn, this is a great rig with lots of details which i like very much. Great work again my friend and nice to see a european rig from you. My first thoughts were: Nice, a Scania ;) It's instantly recognizable. Still laughing about your notes about the "sponsor" ;) @Maple Creek, he isn't from Germany but from Europe ;) Have a good one Martijn!
Thats true, actually I'm living in The Netherlands (Yes, Tulips, Wooden shoes, mills and Amsterdam :P) But I work in Belgium as a firefighter. And Studdsville is a US based department, and now its gonna get a bit of a Euro flavor with the planned purchase of 3 or 4 Scania's, 1 or 2 of those will be this Industrial pumper variant, the others will be a super tanker and a Powder/Dry Chem truck. Why, do you ask? Because Scania's look awesome, and are very reliable trucks, my department has 3 and a 4th on order. I'm glad you guys like it.
