I'm back with my Thompson sub-machine gun! I originally designed this with only the blowback mechanism in mind, but when I finished it, I realized that it could very easily be modified into a RBG. The two mechanisms can be changed by just switching a few parts in the gun. A Power Functions motor with a small battery box (released in the 1990's I believe) are used to power both mechanisms, and are located in the drum magazine. The overall length is very close to the real one (850mm), being about a mm off. It features a removable stock (a piece can be added when the stock is removed to make it look more realistic), look-down sights, a rear flip-up sight, and an optional round in the chamber of the blowback model. There is one non-Lego spring used, but it is only required for the RBG mechanism. I hope you like it!

Quoting Bob Schwippert You did a really great job on this! and almost no holes vissable, I mean, how cool is that! very sweet you can switch between RBG and Blowback, only I think I should make the blowback a little bit more click-clack-ing; but that's just me. Anyway... Very very very cool! Do you already know whats next?
I know what you mean when you say click-clacking. I wish it could sound more like that too, but unfortunately I couldn't make it produce a sound like that. Thanks!

Quoting Tommy S. Good job, so the bolt travels around 3 studs backwards ?
It actually only moves two studs, which is much shorter than it would on the real Thompson. Thanks!
