Well after having people ask for E-100 instructions, I originally thought about doing it but after realizing how many parts went into it I decided not to do that. So I thought about building the next tank on the superheavy list, the Maus but this time in fig scale with all of the PF features possible (i couldn't achieve gun elevation). This tank was a interesting build due to the blocky shape of it and the tracks taking up most of the hull space. The tank features bogie suspension on all 12 bogies and it has turret rotation. This tank marks my first half of a year on Mocpages, so there will be instructions in the next couple weeks to thank all of the people who have supported me and helped me improve as a builder.
the part of the Maus that you don't want to be looking at
the drivetrain setup gives out approximately 133.3 Rpms, so you get sufficient power for climbing stuff as well as some speed but not too much speed
the suspension, its a bogie setup so it doesn't prevent bumps but it moves upwards half of the height of the object it crosses over until it's maxed out. The armor skirts can also come off with a couple pins for easy access.
you may be able to outrun it but you can't stop it
the Maus compared to a 1/35 Tamyia Panther ausf. G
before uploading instructions i will do some fine-tuning of certain parts of the turret
Amazing job once again! I didn't think you would be making models at such a pace, but you're doing it and they're all amazing! This Maus is pretty much perfect (gun elevates or not), the shape is just right and suspensions are hard to do at this scale anyway. The choice of tracks is good, it also has super-wide tracks in reality. Can't wait for a video!
