About this creation
Well, here we have 79006 "The Council Of Elrond" set from the Lord Of The Rings range. This is what you have once you've finished building it. Box, instructions and the set.
The main part of the set splits into two sections. You can't see it in this picture but the roof of the building is actually quite nice.
The 'weapons rack' detaches from the building section for ease of access.
Here is the outside seating area. The centre table is a fairly decent design and it's easy to place the ring in the middle. The three chairs spin easily and the 'flip-board' works about as well as expected.
The rear of both sections.
The four figures. Elrond, Arwen, Gimli and Frodo. I really like the minifigures. As with most current Lego sets, the figures are the best part of the set. I really like the two Elves hair pieces.
The backs of the figures. They actually have some quite nice detailing on them.
And these are the spare parts you are left with.

Well, it's a nice looking set. It looks very pretty and the figures are good but it's about a tenner over-priced in my opinion. Should be a £19.99 set. The leaves are a nice new colour and it's a decent set to play with, but nothing amazingly outstanding. If you're going to buy this one, wait for the sales.
