Tornado!
About this creation
This mostly just came about with me fooling around with hinges and joints one afternoon. It was during that afternoon that disaster struck...

And by some miracle this creation is actually free standing :)

C&C appreciated

God Bless!

Brilliant and clever, plus it looks good! I like how you've made a sort of basket from the grey hinges to contain the tornado.

Impressive use of parts! I love the sense of motion this has with the few but well placed stacks of 1x1 trans circular plates. Great job!

Quoting Cheryl P A very unusual technique. An awesome build. I'm glad there is no shark coming out of the tornado. Is that the next step?
Thanks for the comment! As far as I'm aware, I don't see any sharknadoes in my near future :) And thank goodness!

Quoting Joonmin . That is a very nice idea! Very nice part usage and you captured the look well. It looks like really moving and swallowing things up! Excellent job!
Thanks! The movement was really hard to nail down, but after a lot of tinkering I finally got it. Photo editing also always helps!

Quoting Stormjay Rider When I figure out how this works, I may or may not have to build a Ninjago vignette.
All the best with that! I'll have to come check it out when you do!

Quoting Sven Jagdmann Wow, saw many pictures and videos of destructive tornados moving through residential or town areas with leaving extreme damage. With your tornado scene you captured this dramatic moment absolute perfect. Never before seen such a great tornado made of legos. Excellent work man. Built a tornado aftermath scene and some chase vehicles but never thought about building the tornado itself. This inspires me a lot to do one by myself. ;)
Thanks for the comment! Glad that I could inspire you!

Impressive! Love the organic shape you've created, looks just like the randomness of a funnel cloud. The twist and the flying debris give it wonderful motion. Outstanding!
