This is my humble offering to the genre.
This is the third version I have made over the years. Version 1 was pants, version 2 fell off the shelf and smashed into thousands of pieces. This gave me the excuse to build version 3 which has a much improved stern, focsle and masts
If you look closely you will see many vintage pieces, some over 40 years old ( from when I was a boy).
You won't see much rigging as I want the Lego to take centre stage ( if I had wanted an exact replica I would have made an airfix model)
I am lucky to live close to the real Victory which I have visited many times to get to this version.
I hope you enjoy it
Thanks for your comments MorthernP. From such an accomplished exhibitor as yourself your comments are very flattering, there is no internal detail but space for it if I decide to, the hull is two pieces cut down, after all the comments I have received I am currently working on a custom hull to include a realistic hull curve and tumblehome, version 4 may come sooner than I anticipated !
BTW. Is there interior in the cabins ??
And get this ship in some groups. start with Kings of the sea.
Or enter one of my ships and add yours to the groups. then more people will get the chance to see your Beast
I cant belive this Monster dosent have a billion likes.
In general this looks really good, One thing i can't figure is. The Lego bow pieces in the bow, have you sawn one in half and put a piece of it at each side, to get that shape ??
The red gunports looks great, im tired of all the black ones.
this is a good replica. and The only ship (according to myself) that suits yellow and Black color scheme.
Im doing a second rater at the moment (or for almost 2 years now)
She can carry 75 big cannons and 12 "rail guns"
I agree with BT this is one of the most heavy armed ships I've seen.
Great job, cant wait for version 4
That's quite a gigantic ship, definitely one of the bigger ones I've seen so far. I do think it looks a bit too straight, lacking a proper curve in the gun line. The stern on the other hand looks great with the center windows placed a bit higher than the outer ones.
