Heres my second version of the MP5, a vast improvment from my last one id say :P but considering my previous mp5 was my second lego gun I think its fair. Ive had the visions of how to build the mp5 for a while now and revisiting the design was cool. The handgaurd part of the gun is wider than the recivers, but the gun is still solid. However I did not figure out a way to lock the stock in place without changing the original design and look of the gun, which is a bummer, because that would have been pretty cool. Oh well! There are some attachments in there too. Hope you enjoy !
About this creation
- Working trigger
- extendable stock
- mag release
- working charging handle
- fire selector
Video demonstration of the guns features. A bit laggy :P
Overall look of clean MP5 no attachments. Stock extended.
Here I compare my MP5 to an old plastic replica I have of a modern MP5. I more or less based some parts of my lego model of of the toy one. Especially the part around the mag.
As you can see the shaping and size is very accurete.
Once again clean MP5. As you can see there's a bullet in the top of the mag. ofcourse for only for show, not a real bullet.
Red dot sight attached and stock shortened.
Here is the chamber part and whats interesting about this is that its attached to the charging handle so that when you pull the charging handle back the chamber moves back aswell. I Havent seen anyone do this before, and I understand why, atleast in this case since the handgaurd is wider than the reciver. I will show the machanism futher down along the page.
Here the charging handle is obviously pulled back.
Heres the mechanism. I dont know if you can see, but if you study the pitcure I think you will understand how it works.
Heres the mag release mech. This is a new technique which I had too use since the walls around the magazine are plates. I used the plates to be able to be more accurete with the details.
Here the back part that contains the stock is removed as well as the stock.
Looking down the ACOG sight.
FPS view iron sights
And finally the attachments, the acog, the flashlight and the red dot sight.
Hope you enjoyed this gun! I really enjoyed remaking this gun and testing out some new ideas. If you liked this creation I would really appriciate if you'd express your opinions in the comment section, or leave a like. Peace

Woot, another gun moc on the home page! I like that curved mag technique, and you nailed the scale. May I suggest playing around with Lego's red light brick ( if you have one) and making light up reflex and holographic sights instead of the stacking trans clear pieces with a trans red 1x1 stud on top?
Thanks alot dude! Yeah I actually orderd a red dot light piece from bricklink but it was the wrong one, and the one I orderd is really weak so I have no use for it :/ Might order the right one later, havent really thought about it :)

Excellent job! I love the collapsible stock and the pistol grip . You did a fantastic job on the receiver . I love the selector markings very clever. This is just brilliant! And I agree with the others this is the best Mp-5 I've seen.
