Quoting John Beck Truly, yellow brick is the best color for castle! Great job on all the angles :-)
Hehe, I knew you'd agree on that :)

Nothing like a good 'ol classic, huge lego castle. Really like the design, mixing innovation, all while keeping a classic feel, with a pretty color, too- great build!

I love how this Classic yellow castle features so many modern building techniques. The round walls, especially the ones with the cross-shaped windows, the compound windows and the yellow statues look super.

Don't often see a yellow castle, Parrington, nor a castle from you, but I love this. It almost makes me think that if there were a CS castle, this is what it would look like. Great angles, nice work on the parapets. All around exellent build.

Quoting Mike Johnson Quite a masterful piece of work my friend. I love the interior shots and could easily see a story or two using this fortress as a backdrop. How about, "Game of Bricks" or "Dungeons and Brick Dragons" whatcha' think?

Quoting Topsy Creatori (StoveTopCreator!) Wow! This has to be one of your best. The window details and the supporting buttresses make it look sooo authentic! And that romaesque-like rotunda... almost gives it a Templar look! And, as others have mentioned... the photo of its interior with the light streaming in is spectacular! Thanks too for adding the overview photo so we could all appreciate the ground layout/imprint of the structure! Wow again! This will forever be imprinted on my mind! :)
Cheers Topsy, yeh just had to include an over head. The layout just seems so realistic. Glad one of those shots was presentable, I took several.

Quoting Nick Barrett Very classic, and stunning. You gave yourself a tricky shape and pulled it off beautifully. That interior shot with the fireplace and the light streaming through the window makes me feel like I'm there, in that room. Brilliant.
Thanks Nick, yeh that shot just felt so warm!

Quoting Ian Spacek Lots of yellow! Some nice angles, and I particularly like the different artistic Photoshop pics. The only thing that bugs me a little is the fact that the mini-figs are also yellow toned. It works for the eye, but not for the mind. ;) Still, good show!
Yeh that is a problem easily fixed by using fleshies for the shoot or some extar editing. I personally lokied the last shot, the horror flick promo if you will. Cheers Ian.

Quoting Alex Sonny This is stunning! Not every day do you get to see a yellow castle, and such an awesome one too! It's full of details, and you've managed to get the yellow colour to work, and it makes it look kinda Spanish. Kudos!
Espania! Cheers mate, yeh I try to keep the flame of yellow castles burning bright.

Quoting Marc "Edge" R.unde Wonderful, mate! Gotta love that 45 degree angle of the main building. Sweet Castle! ~Marc
Yeh I'd built the latticed window section first then cam around for a gatehouse. I actually stuck the first bricks at right angles and just thought, oh that is boring. Hence 45 degreed and a whole bunch of headaches!

Quoting Tom Simon Very, very nice. These may be the Borderlands, but definitely not waste lands, judging by all the GOLD. (I'll just assume this castle was conjured, not built by the ounce.)
Hehe, yeh that's gold all taken from across the border, lmao. Any civilisation has to know better than to build in gold by now, unless you are planning to never lose a war, it will all be stole away... Lucky for these guys this castle is made of plastic ;)

Quoting matt rowntRee YELLOW!!! Love the design and all the phenomenal details. The interior shot of the sun through the windows is fantastic. And a wonderfully odd thing happens when you grey out the yellow, it looks just like stone! THAT is something to remember for later on. Exceptional playability. Fantastic work mate!
Hehe, thanks Matt, yeh it's funny I bothered to do a very complete interior to this place and somehow forgot to take photos except from windows or door ways at the end. And yeh, I try to steer away from over using shop but I reckon you get much better effects than real grey bricks if you use some other colours and then change the hue. It picks out the edges and makes all those 1x2's look like bricks that have age wear on them. But anyway, that's for another time. Cheers dude.

Quoting El Barto ! This is WAY beyond Classic Castle, Chief! Is that Pirate Girl running across the front lawn? We're due for a new episode!
Hehe, funny I was going to make this part of some Pirate Girl story, but in the end I just needed to clean the office and pack up. I wanted to do a big background layout also, village etc but I simply haven't the space in this new place. Need a bigger boat...
