This was a Photo that I put on Christmas cards this year. Wait... why is this on here? The answer is: The Black area around the Star is Lego. The star is a yellow paper on a glass table, and the shine is made by a Lamp. This is my first real experimenting with special lighting, so feel free to give me tips when you comment how I can get better.
About this creation
This happened quite randomly: The position of the camera, the position of the light, and maybe some special setting that I had on when I took the picture, but I'm not sure... anyways, the streaks sort of fade out, making it look almost like an actual falling star, streaking though the night sky.
I shot over sixty Photos of this Star, using all six different light-settings on my camera. One of them produced this cool picture... and cool literally, because I found it looked too cold to be a star. It was still a cool picture though.
Aaaaaaand.... and exclusive view of the setup! That's right, here you can see the actual lego. :P Not that pretty, but it did it's Job well, wouldn't you say?
So, a cool experiment. Actually, the main reason I am doing this right now is because i just figured out how to get the pictures full-sized on Mocpages... Something I messed up in my last thirty or so Mocs, including several contest entries... But now I'll do it right. :P I hope you liked it, and feel free to give me feedback on my first try with lighting up a creation in this way.
