T-57 Artillery - Insert Witty Title Here
The T-57 was an American SPG developed towards the end of WWII.
About this creation
A view from the front of the tank, showing the sloped frontal armor and the gun.

A view from the rear, showing the back flap and the gun mechanism.

A closer view of the gun mechanism.

HISTORICAL DATA:
Weight:14.7 tons
Length: 14' (approx.)
Width: 8' (approx.)
Height: 6' (approx.)

The T-57 was built on the M3 Stuart chassis, which is about all I really know about it since I couldn't find any useful information online. This is why all the dimensions are approximate, because I assumed it would be about the same length and width as the Stuart, and a little shorter.

MODEL DATA:
Scale: 1 stud to 1 foot, approximately.
Brick Count: 241
LDD Building Guide Length: 104 steps

This model took about an hour and a half. Probably the most frustrating part about building it was the wheels in the treads, which took about half the time of the entire build. They wouldn't effing attach to the model properly, and each one took several minutes of trying to get it lined up.
I'll be the first to say that I was less than pleased with how the front of the tank turned out. I wanted it to be much more interesting, but that wasn't the case and it ended up being rather boring. I may post an updated pic later on if I tweak it a bit, but no promises.

Quoting lone wolf Great artillery! I don't think I've seen a Lego version of this vehicle either. Are you working your way up the tiers from the Cunningham, to this, to the M7? If that is the case, I'm looking forward to seeing your M37.
Thank you! And indeed, I am. I'm going to do ALL the tanks (which is going to take absolutely forever.)
