DC: Dawn of Revenge - Light tank
The L-54 Jackal light tank, an APC/Tank cross.
About this creation
The L-54 Jackal was made by LTC, Lego Truck Company, to replace the Cougar APCs. These tanks are relatively new, and have only just entered active service with the DC/UCF froces in the middle east.

They use many parts/components from the Wolf tanks, making them easy to repair. The Jackal has a crew of 2, driver and gunner.

The Jackal's are a cross between an APC and a tank. Powered by the same engine as the Wolf MBT, the jackal is the quickest tank ever to enter serivce with the DC, with a top speed of 54Mph. Armed with a 45mm cannon and 2 TOW missiles, these tanks can, and will, fight back. Even if they come up against the SPA tanks, such as the T220 Rhino, the 2 TOW missiles will give them a run for thier money.

The Jackals can also be armed with either SAM or SSM missile laucnhers.

Typical stats:
Armed with a 45mm rapid-fire cannon and a .30cal machine gun.
2 TOW missiles on the left side of the turret.
Can be equiped with smoke/chaf dispensers, or/and 2 extra TOW missiles on the right side of the turret.

Other versions:
4-shot SAM or SSM missile systems.

Overall view. Side skirts are standard.

Close up of the turret, with a soldier manning the .30cal.
You can see the 2 TOW missiles and the radio-antenna.

Closed up for combat in urban areas. The 45mm cannon can fire 200 bullets per min, allowing it to obliterate soft targets such as troops, trucks, jeeps or buildings.

Rear. 4-6 soldiers can squeeze in there, and no, I don't have any pics of them inside it. It was too dark.

Size comparrison with a soldier from the 'Puma' regiment.

2 of them! Both waiting to do something.

Very cool! The gun is at the right size (light tanks have small guns and are made to support infantry). One tip: remove the front lights. In the army, tank's dont have lights since they can be spotted easly by the enemy!

It's very cool! It looks a lot like a Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle(IFV). I think you should make something that looks like a LAV-25. A humvee design is also needed for the new jeeps.

Nice tank, this is close to how I build my tanks. About my highway, it wasn't meant to be anything serious or detailed, as I said on the page. It was something quick I felt like whippig together. Nice tank

I cant believe I forgot to write a review. I like them, expecially since you have two. Although , wouldnt this be classified as an IFV. I know if it was in the modern US army it would.

This is a really great looking creation. It looks like all the space is utilized for details or functionality, so there aren't any featureless areas. My favorite part is the rear hatch, being able to load the tank with infantry is cool.
