Cordaz, Toa of Protosteel (Self-MOC)
Approximately 500,000 years after Makuta's defeat on Bara Magna, a new age of Bionicle began (I'm calling it Last Legacy). A thriving city called 'Omni-Koro' covers the planet as technology develops. Elemental powers are nearly driven to obsolescence by man-made weapons such as firearms and explosives. To retaliate, Toa developed new powers, such as the ability to control electricity and artificial elements. The Toa, who now act as law enforcement for the city, created an order known as 'Last Legacy' in which they struggle to keep the streets of Omni-Koro safe from danger. Toa Cordaz is one of the highest ranking lieutenants in the Last Legacy. He commands the power of steel, able to create weapons out of the most fragile sheet of steel and dons the Mask of Perception, allowing him to analyze and develop a counter for almost any attack after only witnessing it once. PSSST! This version is outdated! V2 is here! http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/379356

Back shot. Not the prettiest picture in the world, but you can see how all of his weapons can be stored on his back and shoulders. Figures that can't store their weapons are one of my biggest lego/bionicle-related pet-peeves -_-.

"Close Quarters Combat?"
Oh yeah, and HEARTLIGHTS FTW

Despite carrying twin Shatter-Speed Katanas, he is quite adept at hand-to-hand/close-quarters combat. ("That is NOT Solid Snake!...Quit impersonating him!"-Solid Snake)

Cordaz is notoriously known for his brutal methods of interrogation. Once he gets a hold of you, there's no escape. He benches 3,000 pounds regularly, twice a day...With one arm.

Shatter-Speed Katanas are weapons that, if swung hard enough, can shatter virtually any material. Cordaz usually uses one of his swords at once and keeps the other one handy for backup, in case he loses or misplaces one. He's the WORST at organizing.

If the situation calls for it, he is perfectly capable at wielding both blades ambidextrously.

But that's not all. The pieces that appear to be "armor" on his back are anti armor claws. He isn't very experienced at using them and only relies on them as a last resort.

"No, Please! I didn't mean to make fun of your mother, please spare me!"

Though he is usually quite negotiable, he is infamous for his encyclopedia's worth of anger issues.

Unless he is ordered not to, he prefers to end battles with a single and fatal slash, but that doesn't mean he is useless against numbers. Rumor has it he took down an entire squad of TERIDAX mercenaries in under two minutes.

Just to show the mechanism that stores his katanas.

Aw, I ran out of pictures >:(. Anyway, if people want building instructions, I'll make them if I have the time. If you have any suggestions/things to say, please comment below.
Thanks for Viewing!

Regardless, he's a cool Toa. I also dig the articulated waist.

Quoting Everox Toa of Plasma Nice job! I think inika builds really do the trick if you use them right, like this. I really like the idea of technology overtaking elemental powers, and powers that revolve around technology!
Thanks! :)

Quoting X ~ You sir win the world. You made an Inika body look DECENT on this moc. Anyway on to Cordaz himself. The Inika torso is covered up nicely, really like when a moc is covered from the insides, makes it look more humanoid and full. The upper arms are strange, the Nuva shoulder is too rounded and bulky for my tastes, especially on a moc that looks like he was meant to be sly. The lower arms, although non-custom look decent on here, just kinda wish they were custom. No hate there though. :P WAIST ARTICULATION! It's always a nice touch on a moc, just letting you know. ;) But in some pics it looks weird, specifically in the third picture(counting the main picture). The upper legs, are pretty lanky. You need to armor them a bit, otherwise it looks unfinished and kinda bad. And the lower legs feel a bit too small to me. I think it's the upper legs causing that effect for me. All-in-all Cordaz here, is an excellent self-moc! There's just some flaws that need to be fixed to make him better or to his potential. :)
Thank you for the honest tips. I think the reason the legs don't look so good is my methodical building system. I usually start with the torso, head and then arms, with the legs being the last thing I work on. By then, I'm feeling really lazy and usually just want to get that part done ASAP. :P I may try revamping him later once I get my current WIP done. But thank you for the suggestions!

Quoting Andrew31kbrick193 /// Dude, that's an awesome looking Toa, the story is awesome too. I love how your Toa wields Katana and does Martial Arts.
Thanks, I never stated it anywhere in the MOC, but he is my self MOC and the central protagonist in my fan fiction.
Quoting Kangar Baker of Cupcakes Wow, that story idea is really cool! I also like how you have "specifications" and "statistics"; it really adds to the MOC even if it's not a physical part of it. As for the MOC itself, it looks pretty good for an Inika build! And is that an articulated waist I see? Cool!
Yup, Articulated Waists FTW! I know for a fact that specifications are something a lot of people are doing, but I've yet to see someone with stats yet. I made him before I knew how infamous the Inika Build was and I'm not exactly that big on customizing. :/
