Here is my first custom minifig that I am uploading.
About this creation
This is my first uploaded custom minifig, so I hope you enjoy it! This is based off of a United States Coast Guard Maritime Security Response Team, based out of the Deployable Operations Group. Fun fact, the USCG actually has the most Spec Ops units in the US. Anyways, this guy is a sniper for the MSRT. Here is the Wikipedia description of the MSRT:

The MSRT is a unit which utilizes counter-terrorism tactics and tradecraft. The MSRT is trained to be the first responder to potential terrorist situations, deny terrorist actions, execute security actions against non-compliant threats, tactical facility entry, participate in port level counter-terrorism exercises, and educate other forces on Coast Guard counter-terrorism procedures.[4] Other federal agencies that MSRT routinely train with are U.S. Navy SEAL teams, U.S. Navy HSC Squadrons, the U.S. Secret Service, U.S. Border Patrol's BORTAC, and US Customs and Border Protection SRT.
MSRT special capabilities include:
Counter-Terrorism
Tactical Maritime Law Enforcement
Medium to High risk boardings
Airborne Use of Force (AUF)
K9 explosive detection teams
CBRNE
Elements of the MSRT, known as the Direct Action Section (DAS), are made up of Coast Guardsman that have made it through all phases of the assessment and selection process. These "Silent Professionals" train in advanced CQC (Close Quarters Combat). They are trained to quickly and surreptitiously board suspicious vessels or land based targets by fast-roping from helicopters or using other undisclosed methods and neutralizing enemy personnel. The Tactical Delivery Team (TDT), boat drivers, are trained in advanced vessel tactics and stealthy delivery of the DAS.

This little guy has different origins. The helmet and vest are from Si-Dan toys, the sniper rifle and bipod are from Brickarms, and the rest of the parts are pure LEGOŽ.

NOTE: Sadly, as it seems most of my other stuff as well does, is now decomissioned. He is taken aparts, and is being re-purposed to a Ford F-250 for a project I'm working on. He is not MSRT anymore.

IMPORTANT NEWS:

I have had my first real snow day, so Brickford County is now snowy.

Brickshore Fire Rescue is now Brickshore Fire Rescue District.

I am in the process of making a LEGOŽ fire apparatus company, Falcon Fire Apparatus.

I have decided that the BFRD is going to have a fire contract with Pierce, one with KME, and one with Rosenbauer. Also one with 1st Attack. More details later.

Those details are this: The contract with Pierce will be for all pumpers and rescues. The one with KME will be for all utilities, commands, and type 4 EMTs. As for Rosenbauer, aerials and wildland engines, and 1st Attack will be brush units.

A side view, with details on the vest and helmet.

All of the gear, spread out to see.

In position, ready to snipe some pirate butt!

Quoting John Doe Totally awesome!!!!! How did you get the vest though?
Thanks! I got it from minifigworld.com, which is the Australian reseller for Brickarms and Si-Dan. I live in the US, but it was cheapest for me in Australia.

Quoting Jon D Nice little fig Joe! Do plan on making a full team of these guys? Also when you mention an Apparatus manufacture do you mean you're going to start make rigs to sell?
I do not plan on making a team of these, but I do have a crew of four other regular guardsmen (and woman) on my modified Coast Guard Patrol. And yes, I mean I'm going to custom make rigs to sell, and not Pierce or Spartan, but my own rigs, like the Perigrine chassis.
