Quoting Tommy S. Can we submit parts for your car or are we supposed to build our own car. If we are building parts I want to try messing around with wing doors.
Hi Tommy. Parts. The idea is detailed in the group linked in the model description, and the detailed list of parts will be released soon. 'Doors' are on the list though : )

A really interesting idea - hope it takes off! The builders have an excellent base to work with.

Quoting Tommy S. Are you gonna mount PF stuff in it and make it RC?
Perhaps, it depends on the winning bodywork and engine designs. One of the 'Desirable' criteria for both the bodywork and engine will be to retain PF compatibility. How to ensure this will be set out in the component requirements in the Flickr and MOCpages groups soon.

Looks good, I have no experience with Lego technic at all, but with big ambitions to become an automotive designer, and experience within some aspects automotive design, I'm sure I could make myself useful in some way :) I have joined the group, if you need any sort of design, I may not be able to help you in real Lego but I'm sure I could help in some other ways!

Hi Ape, I hope you let me in, it's a fantastic idea, and you know, I'm into Technic. As for this first build, I'm totally on love with the outline. So 3 for a good start+ 5 for the excellent idea makes 8/5? :-)

That's a very interesting idea to have different parts built by different people. Unfortunately, I haven't really built anything in Technic, and I don't have many of those kinds of pieces, so I'll only be an observer. I'm looking forward to seeing how this project progresses, though! -LB Jr.
