Dome Battle
About this creation
My latest creation has arrived. Another quick collab with my cousin, A M, as a warm up for my upcoming LOM build, mostly. Now, you may be wondering what the heck "Dome" in Dome Battle means. This looks nothing like a dome. Well, this is actually a scene from the prologue of my new book I'm writing (written below). So, yeah. It's futuristic, as you can probably tell.
Hopefully. :P Anyway, hope you like the story, and the MOC.

Story:

PROLOGUE:

Emilio pulled on his battle helmet and slipped down the dark visor, completely concealing his face. He locked his shoulder pads onto his thick armor and picked up his sniper rifle. He looked out the small viewport on the side of the aircraft he was traveling in.
“Sir!” the pilot cried from the cockpit. “We’ve reached our destination.” Emilio smiled grimly behind his visor. This was going to be a rough going. He nodded to Dmitri and Celtus, the other two members on his Commando Squad. They stepped into the cockpit after him. The pilot, a man named Felgn, pointed to a massive, bright dome among the clumps of gnarled dead trees and the large boulders scattered along the terrain. Old metal frameworks of destroyed buildings were lined outside the dome.
“That’s it,” Celtus confirmed. “Where do we get off?”
“It will have to be a distance away, if you wish to get inside stealthily,” Felgn told him. Dmitri scanned the area.
“There.” He pointed to a well-covered corner on the luscious landscape. Felgn nodded, approving. He steered the vessel around the dome and landed softly behind the cover of the boulders and trees. The doors to the craft opened and the three Commandos stepped out into the night.
“Good luck,” Felgn whispered. “I’ll be back near the ruins of the EMP Building when you’re out.” Emilio nodded, knowing the “Enterprises of Mark Palmor Building” well. Felgn closed the doors and the ship silently lifted off. He flew over the dome, and towards the EMP Building.
Abruptly, a deafening explosion rang through the region, and a burst of light exploded from the top of the dome and struck the aircraft. The vehicle detonated, and the flaming wreckage careened through the air and collided with a side of the enormous dome. The section of the building blew apart, showering the entire area in bits of flaming debris and metal.
“Well,” Emilio said grimly. “I suppose that means they know we’re here.” Dmitri nodded in response, still gazing in horror at the wreckage of their transport.
“But they don’t know when we plan on striking…or where we’ll strike,” Celtus pointed out. “Let’s do this.”

Emilio silently stepped into the dome. Excellent, he thought. So far, so good. He’d managed to deactivate the cameras and alarm outside the dome with a small but effective hacking device Felgn had supplied him with. He’d also been able to take out the four guards outside the main entrance with his glowing, single pronged energy blade. He slipped the sword back into the sheath hanging from his chest armor. He quietly climbed the steps in the corner of the dark room he’d stepped into.
Emilio had no idea where he was going, but he knew that he needed to get to the prison chamber. He didn’t dare turn on the lights in the room, knowing he would give himself away to any other guards here. He slipped into a small side room as he heard rapid footsteps approaching. He turned around and cried out.
Two men dressed in identical black armor stood staring at him. The footsteps stopped for a moment, and then another man leapt into the room. So much for secrecy. Emilio drew his glowing orange sword again and struck out at one of the first guards. Luckily, he had been caught off guard and the blade sliced his chest. He gasped and tumbled to the ground without a chance to draw his own weapon.
The next two guards weren’t as easy to take down. Emilio jabbed at one, but the man sidestepped and drew a small pistol from his holster. Emilio lunged again, but then in mid-move whirled and stabbed at the third man. The sentry stumbled, but didn’t fall. He just looked angry. He slammed Emilio back into the other man, but the Commando was expecting the move. He spun with lightning speed and his sword drove home in the second guard’s neck.
He leapt back, rolled over the lifeless guard and shoved him to the ground in one swift motion. The last man blinked, but quickly recovered. He swung his own violet blade at Emilio. The Commando rolled forward, dodging the sword and lunged up, stabbing the last man in the forehead. He collapsed to the ground without a cry. Emilio hadn’t broken a sweat.
He stepped back outside and shut the door to the room. He still needed to find the prison level and get out of this place.

Dmitri was having no better luck finding the custodial level than Emilio. The first thing he did after walking into the dome was crash into a human guard. He staggered back, but quickly rebalanced. He pulled out his muffled pistol and fired three blasts at the man’s chest. However, instead of bullets flying from the weapon, several auburn bolts exploded from the tip of the muffler.
Shocked at his sudden bump into Dmitri, he didn’t have a chance to fend for himself. The lasers slammed into his chest. Unfortunately for Dmitri, this man managed to scream before he toppled to the ground, a look of surprise on his face. Two more guards suddenly lunged from the shadows of the room and crashed into Dmitri. He cried out, but somehow found himself back on his feet, using his glowing orange blade to fend off the men. He flipped back, and landed rolling forward. He sprang at one man, and jabbed hi sword into the sentry’s throat. He fell against the other man, who made the mistake of attempting to toss the dead man to the ground.
The slight hesitation was all that Dmitri needed. He slashed his weapon again, and the man fell back to the ground. Dmitri stepped back and admired his handiwork. Blood was pooling from all three guards’ lifeless bodies. A beautiful sight.
Dmitri started towards an exit at the back of the room. But then a guard leapt down from somewhere far above Dmitri. He didn’t have a chance to look up as the guard smashed into him.

Yes! Celtus thought, extremely proud of himself. He had found the prison chambers! He raced forward down the long corridor leading to the custodial area at the end. He sprinted past one door on the left side of the passage. Then another. He didn’t quite make it past the third one. Something dark and large hurtled from the doorway and crashed into him. He fell to the floor, winded. Standing above him was an enormous man. His bulky black armor had no arm covering, and Celtus could see his bronze biceps, which were ripped. His lower arms were covered with leather vambraces. No doubt they concealed deadly hidden blades. He gripped what looked like a dark battle axe with radiant mauve blades at the top. He removed his dark helmet. Celtus inhaled.
He instantly recognized this man. His black dreadlocks were pulled back into a tight ponytail. His mouth was curled into a sneer. This man struck Celtus as very un-businessman like. But that was what he happened to be. This was the Mark Palmor, the richest man alive.

What do you think?

The whole thingee.

Poor Celtus' arm is broken and bloody.
