A forced perspective scene of a pirate's demise.
About this creation
My entry to the second round of the 2013 Builder Triathalon

I chose the "One Shot Wonder" category - using forced perspective to build a scene and showing it in only one photo. I've been looking forward to trying this out but sadly didn't have time to explore many of my ideas.

In this scene, marooned pirate Captain Billy Bones has run out of luck as the brave crew of the 'Saucy Ketch' find him, but about 5 years too late!

Quoting Kai Bernstein To be honest, I'm not too fond of the build itself (though that palm tree /is/ pretty cool), but the photography and FP is really good. :P
Thanks Kai. I agree about the build - it was a real rush and I don't like the beach, rocks or figure at all. I'm glad you like the tree although my favourite part was building the micro ship. It looks nice in the picture and a disaster up close! Just as FP should be IMO.

Quoting Gabe French How did you build that ship? Could you show it? Great build,
I'll try to find some time to take a couple more pictures. In short though - one screwdriver, two long bars, one short bar, a tap, a headlight brick, a cheese, a couple of small plates and a harpoon. Hope that's clear! ;)
