LOM: The Dark Queen
About this creation
Note: Some of this might confuse you, so, for maximum knowledge, if you haven't seen them yet, please look at this and this.

Qinon walked along the docks of Worsan. Most of them were long gangways out of wood held up with pillars, leading twenty or so meters out to the water and docking ships on both sides. But at the point where he was walking right now, the gangway hugged the shore.

Qinon looked around, constantly aware that there could be members of the Black Lotus around. They had taken a hard toll, nine assassins, in fact, when he fought them, and therefore had a large score to settle with him. He also kept his eyes open for the ship he was searching for, the Dark Queen.

Now, as Quinon looked to the side, he saw a black ship anchored right there on the dock. A closer look confirmed his suspicions: It was indeed the Dark Queen.

Qinon approached the taksil who was standing in front of it. he had a hat pulled deep into his brown, leathery face. The only thing really visible was a glinting, metal jaw. he was holding a wide, one-edged sword with a spike on the unsharpened side. He looked like he was completely master of this weapon, and Qinons hand instinctively wandered to his dagger as he approached him.

Whos you? the taksil said in a quiet, metallic voice.
Quinon I said.
Yahv been expected.
I thought so.
Hop on board. The taksil glanced back. Alice will introduce you to the crew.

Qinon stepped onto the ship. The taksil turned around after him and said to a yough woman in red-black armor: Hes who wehv been expecting.
The young woman, apparently Alice, immediately took up on what she should do. Everybody! she called. This here is
Qinon, Qinon said.
Qinon Alice repeated. Hes the new crewmember weve all been expecting.
Im trained with the bow and arrow, as well as with the dagger, also in disguise and tracking.
So a ranger. Alice summed up. We really needed one of those for a long time, you know. She said to Qinon. Now, lets get to introducing.

The guys in blue and read are our Magicians, with fire and water specialities. The blue guy is Aminr, and he is good at healing and defending. The other guy, Nohghot, uses fire, and is more into attack.

These two are, from right to left, Rico and Naro. They specialize in boarding ships or jumping onto the shore and heading the fray. rico is a little crazy, but in a good way, so dont be too intimidated by his reactions. Hes still an excellent fighter.

That is Jim, our cook. He might be small, but dont under-estimate him. He can cook up something edible no matter what the conditions, and no matter what there is left to eat. without him, we could never be able to stray farther than half a day from a port.

This is Racknar. He is our last stand. if we are in battle and troops break through to our ship, he takes care of them. He is a master at what he does. Nobody has been able to do damage to any of our ships from anear since we hired him.

This is Hircan. He is the guy who runs out in battle and takes all the attacks to distract from other teammates. His skin was enchanted by Nohghot a while ago to kate a lot of pattering before it is penetrated. It still hurts Hircan just as much, though, so you will often see him go crazy in battle. A bad thing, but only from the enemies point of view. He can easily turn the tide of a skirmish, or even small battle.

Just then a man in gray uniform with a tricorn hat stepped out of one of the two cabins. The new crewmember has arrived? he said.
Yes Alice said. We were just introducing him to the rest of us. Qinon, this is our captain and navigator, Timothy Snake, more often just called Snake. He is a very talented navigator and cartographer. Without him, we would have run aground long ago. He also has a very large portion of Mythrons and Enalicas coasts mapped.
We call him Snake because his tember can sometimes coil up and spring like a Snake.
We actually got his permission to call him that, so its all good.

And the guy in there is our Head of Battle, Aran. hes the one really commanding this ship. What he says, you do. Either that, or he slices you into pieces and throws you out to sea. Dont ever say anything provoking to him. His swords are quicker than anything I have ever seen.
Even my arrows? Qinon asked.
Aran will deflect your arrows with his swords like it is the easiest thing. Believe me, Ive seen it done before. He usually just stands on the bow of the ship, majestically watching the fray, but when he decides to jump in, he will leave destruction. He is a better swordsman than anybody else in Worsan, maybe even in all of the seas south of Mythron. He controls the ship. Whatever he says, you do it. OK?
Qinon nodded. He hadnt even really seen aran yet, but he already had a very good impression that Aran was like some of Qinons fellow outlaws: Reckless, unforgiving, and entirely cold-blooded. A man whom you could not get on the bad side of without the risk of being killed.

Well, now youre part of the crew! Alice said.
Forgive me if you said so before, but what do you do aboard this ship? Qinon asked.
Oh! Me! Right. Im Alice, and I fight in combat along with Rico and Naro. I also manage the ships finances. Nobody gets to touch the ships income except for me, the captain, and our Head of Battle Until it is distributed, of course. So, I think that was it.

Hoy, what about me?! Somebody called down from the crowsnest.

Oh! Right. That is Angela. She only has one eye but it is twice as god for that. She is an expert in ships riggings, more specifically in which parts should be cut in a battle. when we engage other ships, she will swing over and with a few cuts bring down the sails. so, she is important as well.

And so Qinon became part of the crew of the Dark Queen.

***

The harbor scene. A Rainosian Patrol, a rich young couple with a hired guard, a dwarf, an orc, a cyclops...

The blue house.

...a fabric seller. Im so proud of him, for some reason. he just gives the whole thing a splotch of color, and it looks so good...

A sick man. A member of the Black Lotus, maybe?...

The dark Queen. I really like this ship. Its just somehow so cool...

In case you were wondering from where all those black pieces come, then I can tell you that *drummroll* Yes! I do have the tower of Orthanc, it is awesome, and when I took it apart I had immediate inspiration for a ship.

One of the two cabins. This ship used to be a mythronian ship, meant to bring troops over a small, but rocky channel. It has two cabins and two rudders, along with a very easily rotatable sail, so it is very maneuverable.

One of the two fronts with rudder. I got some very cool texture in there, I must say...

The top lifts off to reveal eight oars. I had a picture of them layed out, but the uploader was acting up...

The whole team.

Aminr, Nohghot...

Racknar, Naro, Rico, Hircan,

Alice, K=Jim, Snake, Angela,

And Aran.

Well, this took me a while. The uploader didn't want to work, so I uploaded each foto separately, and in wrong order, and then had to fix it. But I'm happy it's done now.

I had another try at Worsan. My last one was relatively bad, s=and I'm pretty sure I did better this time. I hope you liked it!!!
