Caption this Photo! #9
Thanksgiving has been defined for years by turkey, potatoes, and pie. What are the thoughts of those participating in this unconventional Thanksgiving meal? What is the meal itself cogitating? How would you title this situation? Record your entry in the comments section below!

I read your replies and I understand. I almost wish I didn't post that comment because your totally right, IT'S JUST LEGO! :) So I'm sorry if I offended YOU in anyway :) I hope you understand this. Oh and BTW: It is a funny comic! (As long as it's in Lego! :) )

Quoting Kenji King I'd like to make you a favorite builder, but when people don't put a PG rating on stuff like this, it really gets me upset. The way you should rate it is: In real life, would this be acceptable?
Kenji- Ian's comment sums up my thoughts, but allow me to turn it back over in my own words. Of course turkeys eating a human would not be acceptable! That is what makes it perfect fodder for Caption this Photo. The prospect of twisted catastrophe is a concept which runs through most Caption This Photo posts, yet their portrayal in Lego is intended provoke laughter, humorous reflection, and at most constructive thinking. Is this to say that any subject, whatever the implications, is nominalized when portrayed in the Lego medium? By no means; this is where the PG warning feature of MOCPages is useful. I am very against sexually suggestive and garishly macabre Lego creations, PG warning or no. But this build contains neither of these qualities, and while it does portray a disturbing prospect, it does not portray the low, violent, or personally offensive material toward which I feel the PG warning is geared. My hope is that the presentation of the unacceptable (indeed, absurd) prospects that DON'T happen in in real life will be a source of refreshment from the unacceptable things that DO really happen. I'm sorry if I have caused you grief, and I thank you heartily for your input! Comments like these make one think!

Kenji, I'm sorry that you're offended by this CTP entry, but I really don't think this is the type of MOC that merits a PG rating. As the co-runner of CTP, I give consent to each photo that Max creates and he vice-versa. CTP is usually slightly dark humored. The nature of dark humor revolves around situations that would be horrific in real-life, but because they're portrayed in LEGO (and are generally so far-fetched), there's usually something funny about them. People laugh because the situations/implications are unbelievably twisted, awkward, and seemingly impossible. Now I personally would not have chosen to build something like this (Max usually has the more whacky ideas out of the two of us), but I think this fits the CTP bill nonetheless. Once again, I'm sorry that you're offended, but I think that's because you're thinking about this MOC a tad too hard. If it's any consolation, the next CTP will not be quite this "disturbing." Cheers!

Yes, yes it would. I have seen worse things without PG Ratings. There is no cussing, massive amounts of gore, nothing that is intended for adult viewing, nothing. It's a LEGO creation dude, lighten up. Besides, the turkeys would have removed his bits anyway, even if it was a digital photo composed of realistic images, I doubt they would have found them very delectible.
