Caleb's 4x4 Contest: Round 3 - "Lost"
My once again last-minute entry to Caleb's 4x4 Contest. Wow, I never expected to make it this far! Thanks to all the judges, especially Caleb, for putting all the time and work that makes this contest possible, and good luck to all the contestants this round!
About this creation
Caleb's 4x4 Contest
Category: "Lost".
And my very talented opponent: The Object of Legend

The flood makes it difficult to explore my surroundings. During the day I patch holes in the shelter. My nights are spent cramped, cold, and soaked to the bone. Food is scarce. There's water all around me, yet little of it is drinkable. Even if I wanted to find my way back, I couldn't. I've wasted most of my ammunition shooting at seagulls, hoping one will fall near my shelter.

But however bad this gets, it can't be worse than the War...

The roof of the shelter.

The flooded ruins.

This is my favorite shot right here.

The back. It's a little flat here, but too much more texture would result in overhang.

The entire MOC, figless.

And, two shots proving that there's no overhang.

Thanks for looking! Comments/criticism would be appreciated!

Quoting Kai Bernstein Absolutely phenomenal angles and textures here! Love it!
Thanks, Kai! I was really pleased with how this came out, and I'll probably use a similar technique as part of a larger MOC in the future. Glad you like it!

Quoting Gilbert Despathens Nice wooden rubble! This is the best of this year's dilapidated-building 4x4s that I've seen.
Thanks, Gilbert, glad you think so. It means a lot to me. =)

This was quite close, that shambled shelter is just boss! However, I feel that your opponent used some more clever techniques and added some extra cool details. you opponent gets my vote. ~FNJ

Quoting Halhi 141 Great angles and textures! Absolutely fantastic techniques! Definately one of the closest match-ups too, considering that you two had two of the best entries of the round...

Nice take on the category, but you don't have my vote. It was sooooo close, but in the end, my choice is object.
