A Sesame Street-inspired Vic Viper design.
About this creation
First, I should give credit to matt rowntRee, whose spectacularly hilarious MOC Olympics entry The Muppets Take The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly provided me with the inspiration for this MOC.

What we have here with this MOC is a Sesame Street-inpsired Vic Viper. I usd the brick buildings on the Sesame Street set as inspiration for the design of the prongs. The wings are modeled after the awning in front of Mr. Hooper's store, and the tail is a replica of the iconic Sesame Street signpost. At the helm, in his trash can cockpit, is Oscar the Grouch. At his side is his trusty sidekick, Slimey the Worm. But the most unique feature of this Viper is its propulsion system. It is driven by the most powerful force in the known universe -- the attraction between the Cookie Monster and a freshly baked double-fudge chocolate chip cookie.

hahahahhaha! "rule of cool" more than compensates for the absurdity of the propulsion system.

Quoting Alex Rode You are a genius for piece usage. Well done!
Thanks. I have to admit that I was pretty happy when I figured out to do the eyes on all three characters.

Thanks. Although it's been a long time, I still have many fond memories of Sesame Street as well.

Quoting matt rowntRee BEST VV EVER!!! Matt, I can't stop laughing. What a truly awesome build. First off the characters are perfectly wonderful, I have to say that CM's face is inspired. And the viper itself is spot on hilarious with all the Sesame Street details. This is precisely the stuff we need more of here on the pages. Looks like it was one of those builds that makes you laugh while building it. My favorites! Beyond excellent Matt, Keep it up! Now if I can only get the "C is for cookie" song out of my head. =D
Thanks, matt. As I said in the description, I don't think this MOC would have been possible without your fantastic M.O. entry. I had really hit a case of builder's block last week, but then I stumbled onto your Muppets TGTBATU page again and a light went on. Once I got the idea, I knew that Oscar and CM were a must, and Slimey seemed like a natural addition. And, yes, you are right -- there were definitely a number of occasions where I was chuckling as I built this MOC.

Quoting clayton Marchetti Wow! Matt this is awesome. The characters look fantastic. The Sesame Street sign as the tail is to perfect. I love the power source Oscar holding a stick with a cookie dangling just of reach of Cookie Monster . He may go well beyond light speed. . Fantastic design.
Thanks. The characters took the longest time to design by far, and I'm still not completely satisfied with them , but at least I think I captured the Cookie Monster's crazed look and Oscar's grouchiness.

Thanks. When Girl Scout Cookie time rolls around, I think this Viper might be capable of Warp 9.
