Justin M. vs. A. Sargent

Deaskuth V5 WIP! :D

4th Wall:

Well! That was a fun build. Yeah, I know I'm dead. I just saw Justin's, and I'm doomed. Yeah, I'm paired against him - a great friend and a stupendous builder. Thanks to Caleb for organizing this, and it's quite amazing and great of you to help out in the Philippines. Good luck, Justin, and most likely in Round 4 as well. And, sorry for the discolored, crappy photos. :P

God bless!

Srry Sargent, but you got paired to an expert. You don't have my vote, but I want you to know you your build is awesome, and that you put up a great fight!

Great entry! This is a nice clean, build. I like how the siding looks and the fire is very convincing. The subject definitely fits the category very well.

Awesome entry! I love how you made the siding and the fire racing up the side oh the house really gives a sense of urgency! Excellent!

Quoting Justin M Hey Sarge, let me start of by saying I was honored to be your competitor. Itís been great to watch your building skill improve tremendously in the past few months, and itís only getting better. Let me know if you ever need any advice or help with a build, because Iíll be happy to help you in any way possible. Let me just say your entry is awesome, it was definitely challenging for me to get an entry on a 4x4 plate with no overhang, and trust me, I struggled, but you did it expertly. I like the way you did the wall, the fire and burning section, the womanís expression was perfect and the overall build was top-notch. Keep it up dude Ďcause youíre only getting better! Btw, Iím excited to see Deaskuth V5, it should be great. Thanks for being such a great opponent, A Sergent. I was honored to be put up against you. Have a great day! :D -Justin M
Thanks for the great comment, Justin! It was a great first thing to see after I got home from school. I was honored to be up against you as well. I also greatly appreciate you offer for advice and tips. No doubt that they would help me, especially coming from an amazing build by the likes of yourself. You really made me fell good. It gave me a nice challenge to face you, and I'm glad that I pushed myself to do my best against it. Unfortunately, my camera wasn't working, and my pics were not as good as they could be. Still, even with better pictures you would've won. :) It's been a great (almost) first year on the pages meeting great guys like you and improving. Hopefully I'll get better next year too. I really appreciate this comment, and good luck in Round 4!

Quoting David FNJ I'll start off by saying that I think your build fits the category much better than your opponent's build does. However, I think if you spent some more time adding more detail to the wall instead of using solely cheese slopes and getting better photos (lighting/clearness) you would have gotten my vote. However, Justin's build was packed with nicer details and had a better presentation - thus I gave Justin my vote. Good luck with the other judges. ~FNJ
Thanks for the kind comment. Ah, well, I knew I had no chance. It was a fun contest, and I'll be back next year for more!

This reminds me of the poem, "Matilda Who Told Lies." Matilda got burned to death in the end. Anyway, great MOC! I like the details! 5/5! :)
