This was something small I made to replicate a actual catapult. most people use rubberbands for catapults but i decided to try to replicate a more accurate mechanism by using a axle getting bent by a rope system attached to a ratchet. The spring on it aids the axle and prevents too much damage from occurring on the 12L axle. It features a dual action ratchet for the crank system. the small catapult can also achieve ranges of up to 25-30 ft.

Here's a video the catapult fails to knock over the targets but you can hear the projectiles hit them

mmmmm, you went realistic, tough for the axle, but, very well done, it must have a pretty good feel to shoot projectiles! bravo!

I will try to add a video sometime Friday it probably around 20-25ft with 1x1 round bricks but with smaller parts it can get farther range
