Autumn, first Snowfall in Town "UPDATE"
What a surprise. Yesterday it was Fall in my town, it was dry, the sun was shining and the temperatures low. And now all changed. 5 inches of snow had fallen overnight and my town is now a winter wonderland. I decided to let it snow in my town because I can't wait to the first snowfall in real life. This is the result :) On the first pics you can see some Autumn scenes. And then the Winter pics follow. Used some real branches from bushes for the trees and i really like that they look like real ones. I know it's no Lego but i wanted to try it out this year. For the snow i used model railroad fake snow powder which i purchased in a local toy store. This snow can be removed with a vacuum cleaner easily and doesn't harm anything. I hope you like it. Thanks for watching, commenting and rating. Have fun.
About this creation
A cold, sunny Autumn day in my Town...

A overview of my town to show you the new height of the Trump World Tower.
But it's not finsihed yet. The Tower will reach a height of 2 meters.

...and then came the snow overnight. Note the main pic :)

My first steps in the snow, yaaaay! But it's really cccccoold ;)

The janitors of the Trump World Tower cleanup the sidewalk in front of the building.

Forgot the Minfig footprints ;)

Update :) Added some dirty snow. Now it looks much better i think.

And now i'll prepare you for the winter season with one of my favorite songs:

Thanks for watching ;)

Quoting Larry Chay Hey Sven, I heard on Chris Phipson's page that you were going to Brickworld (Chicago?). (Ok, I'm a stalker JK) I also attend BW Chicago, and I was hoping to see you there! Will you be displaying? Thanks, Larry
Oh Larry, I'm really sorry but this was misunderstanding. I copied his last reply (With the Brickworld part) on MOTD because he got MOTD the second time. It's a great compliment from you but it's not possible for me to display my creations there, because i live in Germany. I'm really sorry about this misunderstanding. Greetings, Sven

I've been building so much since you last saw my stuff. I love all your new MOC's especially this one. Your level of reality I so amazing. Keep up the astonishing work and stay tuned for my new stuff :p
Hey mate, it's no problem that you didn't post often the last time. :) A big thank you for your nice comment. I really appreciate it my friend. I'll do the best on my future creations. At the moment I'm working on a DSNY Garbage Truck for my town. But it's on hold due to lack of parts. Where are your new creations? Sadly i found nothing new on your pages. Can't wait to see your new stuff. Keep up your great work too. :)

Quoting Loek Marcus How could I miss this? Anyway, this looks amazing! The snow looks very realistic (what did you use for it?), and the dirty snow makes it even better. Great work!
No problem that you missed it my friend :) Thank you so much for your nice comment Loek! I'm glad that you like the snowscene so much. Used snow for model railroad scenes: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/71hvLNNuJtL._SL1277_.jpg It's only a dry snow powder which can be removed easily with a vacuum cleaner.

Quoting Joe Ramlet Hey, Sven, that's really awesome! We got our first snow maybe three weeks ago, being in Minnesota, but it all melted within 5 days. I do have a question: how do you make your lights be diagonal for the lightbars on your engines? If you don't mind sharing...
Hey Joe you lucky guy ;) Still waiting for the first real snow. Could be possible next weekend. I live Germany btw :) No problem, use the "Plate 1X2 W. 1 Knob" for the diagonal lightbars. It's mounted on the right and left side of the roof which is made with flat tiles. So i can do the diagonal lightbars. You can see it here: http://www.mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=372988&id=/user_images/84460/1382710422m Hope this will help you. Thanks a lot for your nice comment :)

Quoting Lego Fire Museum Inc. I love the trees. Lego trees are too hard to build and they bust too easily. You did a great job with your trees. I like them more than the snow, which looks very nice.
Thank you very very much for your nice comment my friend. I'm very happy that you like my idea with the trees. And youre right, they are hard to build only with lego, they bust easily and anyway i had to buy many brown parts. I like the realistic style of the trees also a lot. And with the snow they look really nice :)

Quoting P. Voranc This is easily one of the best atmospheres I've ran into, when it comes to city dioramas. Photos are amazing, even builders with much larger MOCs often fail to capture the feeling of their work, and viewers are left somewhere in the distance. Great work, I sincerely hope you'll be able to expand this gem even more and have a lot of fun while doing so.
Wow, your comment is a great compliment for me an this makes me really happy and proud mate. It was so much fun scattering the snow powder over my town ans watching the result. It was dark and only the buildings were lit up. It was like after snowfall in the real world. I have fun every day when i can build something for my town and i hope that i can expand it in the future but for this i need more space in my living room where the city stands. It's you and all the others of this great community who make it possible that i find so many inspiration and ideas. Thank you again for your nice comment :)

Lol :) Thank you very much. But i think it needs only 1-2 hours to clean the entire town. Prepared every part of it before i used the snow powder. So i can use my vacuum cleaner for cleaning. The lamp posts, signs, trees and traffic lights will be dismantled before cleaning. Thats all :)
