10.5 cm K (gp.Sfl.) "Dicker Max"
The Dicker Max (translates to "Fat Max" I believe) was a German self propelled artillery made during World War II. It was designed to be used against the French Maginot line as a Schartenbrecher (bunker buster). Unfortunately, France lost too fast for the D. Max to be put into battle. It was finally used on the Eastern front; two of them were employed by the Panzerjäger Abteilung 521 in the invasion of Russia. They were designated as Heavy Tank Destroyers. Today, the Max is featured in the game World of Tanks as a tank destroyer.
About this creation

I have never seen a Lego Dicker Max, so it's about time somebody built one. This is one of my favorite vehicles the Germans made.

It has a very large interior (for once). I should have taken a picture of it, but several minifigs can fit with out their heads sticking out of the metal plates. No head-shots for you Allies!

As you can see, this is built off my Panzer IV chassis.

The main armament is a 10.5 cm (105 mm) gun that pretty much kills anything it shoots at.

Those angles are hard to do by the way. Super delicate.

You know what comes next....

Take that ya arty scumbag! I know, the Max is an arty and this is technically cannibalism ...sue me.

Comparison with my M34 tank destroyer.

It's Papa Max and Mini Max!...

There is WAY more room in the Max.

A crew photo. Technically the Max has six crewman, but whatever.

Well that's all for the Dicker Max. Sad to see my Jagdpanzer IV go, but worth it in the end; I'm rather happy with this vehicle, despite it being an artillery. I think this completes what I plan to do with the Panzer IV chassis so I may start on a Panther chassis... Anyway, thanks for looking, please rate and comment if you like it. Have an awesome day.

Awesome! Great details, like the loading end of the gun and the ready shells. Great work on the shape too, brilliant use of those wing plates as armor. All in all a very accurate looking and and well-built piece :-)

Quoting Loek Marcus Epic version of the Dicker Max: Great job! Has it got a lot of gun depression? It's what made the Dicker Max special!
Well that's what made it special in the World of Tanks, not exactly in the real world. It was more commonly used for indirect fire like an SPG than as a tank destroyer. But this model does have better gun depression than any of my other vehicles.

Quoting Claw Paradox Nice job, but try taking those top little roadwheels up 1/3 of a brick or so to make the top of the track straight. Very roomy.
Man i keep forgetting to do that! And btw, they are not "those top little roadwheels". They are called return rollers :)

Quoting Florida Shoooter Very nice! This is only the 2d one I have seen in real LEGO. Seen a few "attempts" in LDD. Like Alex said, the super came out really nice. And you are right, those angled sides are really hard to get just right. :)
Thank you Florida. Ah, well I guess I made the second in the world then. :) And thank you everyone else :)

This is awesome! I really haven't seen another Dicker Max in lego before, and this one is very accurate. The superstructure is really nice, and roomy, which is always welcome. A superb model!
