Quoting James Dart I love those engines. I need to figure out how to do that. VERY NICE!
There really easy you just use the modified plate that's octagonal bar around it . Then clip 8 1x2 clips upside down and fold them over.

Quoting Semperi Afendel For a split second there, I though this was the Serenity, from the show "Firefly". You should take a look at that ship. It could be worth a build. I really like the cockpit on this ship. It adds a lot of dynamic to the general design.
Thank you ! I was thinking of the serenity and the tie advanced when I built this for Ron's space superiority contest. I just might just give it a go one of these days.

Well. Consider me a consulting, occasional ship builder ;-D A Ruskie vessel is an interesting thing to build, maybe as an opposing force to my three Americanski vessel (I went a little Russian there myself). I'll look at some designs, but it will be some significant time before I even decide to build a Russian vessel.....

Quoting Achintya Prasad Hmm. Shipwise, not sure. I'm probably semiretired from ship building for the moment. I do have one, rather large, build coming up in the next few days (I just need photos), and 2014 looks like a good year for some builds, both military and maybe even civilian. We shall see. How's the Flickr account progress coming along?
Say it isn't so ! You need a Russian ship ! I don't get over to flicker very often I just found Chris Roach over there .

Quoting Tim C Really excellent work here, Clayton. Really raises the bar. I want to let you know, that the design I'm going for is similar to yours. Didn't want you to think that I was stealing your design. On yours, I love how you worked out the weaponry, and you just don't see that windscreen used enough, probably because it's difficult to work out. Nice work on it. I like the little attachments you added to the windscreen. Nice, unique touch. Well done, and good luck in the contest.
