Makuta Teridax Revamp
Makuta. Makuta Teridax. Whatever. He's still the same guy.
About this creation
See V2 here.

So, here he is!

Back.

Here's his leg design. It's all custom.

Torso. Now the neat thing about this is...

...I managed to get an Inika torso in there and still have the torso look good!

Head design. Based off of a design I saw on google.

It works much better than a Mata head, in my opinion.

Here's his staff. I'm really glad that I used those Vahki pieces. They have the same sort of shape as the original blades, but they're much bigger.

Here are some pegs on the side of his torso. What are they for, you ask?

Wings, straight from the second Bionicle movie! I just had to include these.

Back.

Comparison with the original 2003 Makuta set.

Comparison with his brother (in my story), Makuta Pyrodax.

Comparison with Toa Inika Jaller.

T: Remember, where there is light, there will always be shadow...

So, that's it for this MOC! If you liked it, please rate and comment, and feel free to take a look at some of my other MOCs!

Quoting Cordaz Toa of Sushi Excellent Remake! Love what you've done with Terry. ^_^ However, I think his legs could use some work in making them blend in with his body. Other than that, it's a great build!
Thanks! Yeah, that's one of the things I want to fix.

Quoting Michal Hennel I must say that this is actually very nice build. Especially head part is very well used, those eyes and face look like one of a snake, and whole build has some lean elegance typical for smart villains. Also, adding a wings helps a lot. Maybe some tentacles from the back could enhance his mysterious look, but I think to achieve purity of build this could be somewhat backfiring. If I may suggest you, try to make some Starcraft or Warcraft characters, they could look so well in Bionicle style! :D
Meh, while tentacles do sound like an interesting idea, there is know knowledge of anything like that in Bionicle Canon, and nothing like that ever happened in the movie. However, he did have a shadow hand, and I really wanna try and recreate that. As for Starcraft and Warcraft, I don't play those games, so I am unfortunately not educated or enticed to build any characters at the moment.

Quoting Critical MOCer Cool MOC, and I realized that Inika Jaller is the same height as the original Makuta set.
Yep. It shows you how far the Bionicle sets came; a 199-piece titan set is no larger than a 49-piece Toa set.

Quoting Halhi 141 Matt's also talking about the ground, which is a bit distracting (as well as the pattern on the door. Pretty nice build, but I think the leg connection to the torso is too blocky. I also wish the limbs were more complex...
I understand what you mean about the leg connection. However, I was trying to capture the look that Makuta had in the movies, and that's the way he looks. As for limbs being more complex, I don't really do custom limbs, but when I do, don't expect anything grand and spectacular.

Quoting Matt W. Nice build, but a better background would be something white, like a sheet or pillowcase.
But my door is white...

Quoting sam the first to be honest, i agree with the guy below - i think the legs are a bit wide, as if he's permanently in squat position. but, as previously said, the upper body is great! nice work!
Thanks! I tried to base this guy more on how he appeared in the movie, so I guess that might have been the look they were going for, seeing how he was the main villain and all.
