Prototype #15267
I sacrificed two tanks to build this. One of those tanks was my beloved 38(t). Doesn't seem fair at all, to end up with this poor excuse for a tank destroyer (the turret is stuck). But not all is lost, I did end up with some relative success, as you will see.
About this creation

So this went through many designs and failures before I ended up with something worth being seen. I basically tried to make a turret that had a rotating floor in the bottom of the hull like real tanks have. My result: a fixed turreted tank destroyer...with a fixed floor...but I made it so might as well show what I have.

I also tried some new frontal ideas. I put a T-34 style driver hatch on it and pushed it to the side so the driver could bail out. If it was in the middle and the gun was down, he would roast to death.

Started with a British crusader style suspension. I think that in the end, this vehicle looks more British than anything.

Curse you faded gray color!

There is an engine compartment but by this point I was too frustrated to build an engine.

Same thing with the back, just couldn't carry on. Besides, this was just made as a test so :/

Perhaps the greatest success of this project was the very roomy interior at the cost of a bulky turret. See, the floor sinks into the hull, so if done correctly, you end up with a very functional tank with room for crew and everything (rotating gun platform on a chassis). I wish I could have done this differently but I lacked parts. I have already destroyed two tanks by this point and I'm not going to kill another.

Here soldiers sits comfortably and safely in the turret.

Big freaking gun.

Stupid light is on the wrong side :/

Overhead view.

Comparison shot...with some weird blue haze...I honestly don't know where that came from actually.

All important photo of arty justice.

Parting Photo.

Well can't say this is my best work, I just tried something new and it wasn't very pretty. Maybe if I can get this right I can make it an official vehicle of my fleet. For now, it will remain in prototype stage. Thanks for looking, if anybody actually looked. Feel free to give me advice, though I pretty much know everything that went wrong. I just don't have the parts to fix it nor do I want to kill another one of my tanks. See ya next time (I hope).

Quoting Alex Sonny If you want advice: get it some suspension (even the simplest improves the overall look of the vehicle) and try raising the platform a bit - the turret can rest on a sort of podium. That should solve the rotation problems, I think. The rest of the tank looks pretty dull due to a lack of details, but this IS just the prototype stage so I'm looking forward to improvements in version 2!
You're right, this thing really needs some suspension. Thanks for the advice.

I know that feeling when you want to make a great tank and it starts out well, but you just can't finish it the same way... Good job anyway!

Reminds me of a Valentine but with a different suspension, I wonder what it would look like if you used black 3 wide polarabolas instead of the dark bley

I like how you put a dish inside a dish for the wheels.
