My entry for the 1st MOX PRIZE -- Space Superiority Fighter contest. After i uploaded previsou build, i started to focus on this. Build from scratch, started with the cockpit windshield to the front and then rear. I know its only small fast build, but i think that it will exactly fit the category. Its just small fighter with one pilot seat, armed with two twin heavy machineguns and 8 proton torpedos and 4 rockets with various warheads. Powered by two impulse engines is this fighter state of the art. Retractable landing gear on the botom allows better movability in hangar. Overpressured cockpit holds one pilot with spacesuit with possibility to be detached with his seat in emergency conditions and survive long enough for search paries to arrive if possible. Thx for stopping by, feel free to rate and comment as always!

Quoting Jozsef Venczel Hello! You have many cool spaceship! This reminds a F–117 Nighthawk, a bit. But this is beautiful!
Thank you! I really wanted it to be stealth so, there's possibly a reference to F117A Nighthawk :)

Quoting LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist Reminds me of a star destroyer, sweet stealth fighter!
Thank you! Yeah it could be good for attack/defense with my dagger class stardestroyer! But it would be very hard to make accurated scale (very big dagger class stardestroyer!) with this two beauties without just photoshoping them together :(

Quoting matt rowntRee Love the stealthy quality of this fighter. He'd be tough to spot and by the time you did, you'd be dead. Nice!
Exactly my thought, thank you!

Quoting Michal Hennel Great use of shell bricks ... It would be great to fill ships inside room with some devices or engines. I know angling is very difficult in virtual LEGO, but it is worth of effort. GL in contest!
Thank you. It would be cool, but with this i would have to make extra opening for maintence for the engines and the devices and stuff like that. I keeped it as simple as this, with only making it more durable with almost no inner empty spaces (excluding the cockpit) for real bricks. Maybe later i'll make better version of this one, i'll keep that in mind (devices, engines, ... , details, details, details!).

Quoting Marc dZ Excellent work on the design and shape. The bet to build just in black really does it! Good luck for the contest!

Quoting Topsy Creatori (StoveTopCreator!) Very cool design! Yet, I agree with Michael's comments! Oddly enough I just read all the comments you received after making a comment on Keith's build, where I too referenced atomospheric flight. It will be interesting to see what Ron and the other judges are really looking for! Anyhoo, once again... a cool design! :)
Yeah :) This is just my point of view with the low profile etc. :) Other builders in the contest are doing great work, one nice build after the other, raising the bar of details&unordinary designs. I can't wait to see the results! :)

Quoting Michael Rutherford Great work! I like the simplicity of it. The arrowhead shape does suggest an atmospheric use however. I only point it out because while it looks totally cool, I think the oddly shaped "non-atmospheric" fighters are closer to what the boss man is looking for. I really dig the rockets and the twin thrust ports in the rear. Attack!
Thank you. I know its not crazy desing, but i wanted something with low profile, so its harder to lock on (even the black color - space is dark, right?). But i couldnt build anything smaller due to the two big engines (yeah no super sci-fi micro egines :P ) right behind pilot's cockpit and arrowhead shape is fine for me. :)

Great entry for the contest, the landing gear are a nice touch and it looks very aggressive all blacked out like that. I kind of wish you'd gone a little crazier with the overall shape, but the one you settled on is very well executed. It took me a while to find the rockets, they blend in so well. Nice work!

Quoting El Barto ! Cool build! But to me it looks like the detachable nose section of a much larger ship. Might be worth adding on to it after the contest.
Thanks for r&c and also for the idea, i like how it sounds. I'll definitely try it later.

Thank you very much! I still have few concepts, i try to post them when they're finished. I am actualy building more and more space (heavy) shuttles rather then fighters, but i think this will be good experience to try build something else.
