Simon's incredible entry. He has some crazy good building skills!! :)

Hey everyone,

Here is my R.4 entry. I must say that it pales in comparison to Simon's. If you haven't seen his, by all means check it out!

As you can see, I chose Narnia. I debated for a while, until I settled for this scene. I'm fairly pleased with the outcome, especially since I used up all my light tan... Yeah... ;) Anyways, I hope you enjoy the show...er...MOC!

Reference picture.

Yup, I included Lantern Waste!

The Wardrobe...

...Door-less.

FP setup. If you look closely, you can see the White Witch's house in the background.

Lucy's view.

Well, this was a lot of fun! I'm not sure if my luck will hold in this round, so I'll be biting my nails till the results.

Best of luck to you Simon! It's a real honour competing against you!

Once again, a big thank you to the judges, and thanks for viewing everyone!

~Mark

Brilliant! The FP is very well done, and the wardrobe itself is very accurate to the movie! Nice styling the walls, and I like the Witch's castle in the background! Definitely one of my favorites from you!

Quoting Tim C Mark, this is so cool. This may be my favorite work by you. The room is well built, and the wardrobe is unmistakable. What really grabs me about this build is the lamppost and the FP castle in the back. Great work, Mark.

I first was a little disappointed... such a small scene, why? But then I saw the whole foced perspective, which is really good thought out and which makes the whole MOC three times cooler! This will be a though round for the judges, so I can see this going in both directions ;).

Quoting matt rowntRee Mark, this is spectacular! You captured the wonderment of Lucy first gazing through the wardrobe perfectly, you nailed the intimacy of the scene. I love the texture of the Tudor walls and the wardrobe itself is beautiful and bulky like a proper English armoire. The view of Narnia and the lantern looks righteously cold in the snow. Your moc and Simon's are going to be tough for the judges, you both did the movie some serious justice. Fantastic job and good luck!
Thanks a lot man! I really appreciate it!

Quoting clayton Marchetti You really captured this scene beautifully! Your positioning of Lucy is too cute as she peers into Narnia for the first time. The room is perfect and the wardrobe is magnificent! You even built the sheet that covered the wardrobe! I can't wait to see not only too see what you build in round 5 but who you'll be up against! Good luck Mark!
