The Category this Round was "Movie Scene Round". The movies me and my opponent were given to choose from were: Aliens (The 1986 film, not the original), Captain America: The First Avenger, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. I chose to do Aliens (The 1986 film). I chose to do the scene in aliens when the colonial marines are in the subsection of the compound and are surrounded by aliens. Unfortunately I could not find a photo of this exact scene but a photo of one of the aliens will be at the end of this post.

Tough luck Grant. You picked one of my favourite films (I can't believe David's comment below that he hasn't even heard of one of the best sci-fi action movies ever!?!) and I have tried minifig-scale xenomorphs twice, so I can comment with some knowledge ;) I like what you have done - i know there are non-purist pulse rifles and helmets you could have used but sticking to Lego elements I think you were going to struggle for accuracy on the marines at this scale. The Xeno looks really good, although I would probably have left out the white part on the head, but the tail and feet are great. Nice greebles and the poor colonist encased in slime too. Well done.

While the other judges voted for Eric, my vote would go to you. I just really liked your alien. However, with the other votes cast... time to hit the showers man. Thanks for an awesome entry! ~ Chris.

Nice alien there! I've never seen, (nor heard) of this, movie, but it'd appear you've done it good credit! I can't stop looking at the floor, though... So loverly!

I, unfortunately, have not seen this movie. Nevertheless, it's still a great build, the details on the alien are quite wonderful, and so is the rock work in the background!
