A diorama of a Californian desert town in the later years of the Zombie War. The unforgiving land provides safety from zombies but not from the elements. Soon, locals leave in search of better pastures, leaveing abandoned buildings and a few ghouls behind.
The desert is checkered with the zombies of locals unfortunate enough to be left behind. Moan.
The skelletons of buildings looted 5 times over stand as memorials to past lives.
Carrion birds pick sun-dried corpses clean. It wouldn't be an apocalypse without powerlines, would it?
Survivors trapped into wilderness seldom leave intact. "Nothing more to live for..."
Even if they go no where, powerlines are an iconic symbol of the apocalypse. Even more so when there just sitting there, two poles in the middle of now where. I love "War Pigs" although its more about war, although a Zombie Apoc could be the result of a nuclear war. Try "Children of the Grave". OH! And the MOC is kool! Love the blood! =)
To return the favor, I decided to visit your site. And what did I find? Nothing short of excellent! I especially like the powerlines . . . you don't even cheat with the wires, do you? I use black Lego string, he he he. Also, for my poles I use viking boat masts. However, this use of cans make them bend, which looks even better. I'm luvin' it (no offense to McDonald's).
