A 9 studs width Mercedes-Benz 300 SL gullwing with a lot of half and third steps and even more angular bricks.
About this creation

What's better than building a 60s car (or the remake of it :-P) - Yeah, building a 50s car, with more curves, more details, and much more "How on earth can I build this part". Cause there's no cool Lego version of my favorite gullwing car - the 300SL - out there (respectively none that I know), I decided to build it - as large as needed, as small as possible. The result is here: a 9 studs width car with a lot of half and third steps and even more Angular bricks.

Quoting Karl M. K. I see, it's good that you have very high standards, however yours could host some improvements as well. You got the proportions right but i think that if you built it bigger you could have added even more details like the eyebrow sort of things above the wheel arches and the 2 bonnett bulges and - would you believe - more roundiness. :)
You can always add more details by enlarging your model ... and I don't say this model is perfect, it just fits my personal demand. I just tried - as I said - to build a 300 SL as large as needed, as small as possible with all details I wanted.

Incredibly well done. So many nice parts usages. You have captured many details in the design, with many original solutions.

Quoting Karl M. K. Go check out the 300sl Rolling Bricks has made, im sure you'll like it. ;) As for yours, it's just as good with all the expected details. Good work!
I know his creation, but it is disproportionate (too high) and in my opinion it looks not round enougth compared to the "roundness" of the original.
