Pretty cool but I sort of do not have the pieces to build that sort of spaceship. That is the greatest thing I can still see. My largest spaceship is the Blacktron Colossus... Come and see it if you want?

I'll try out that grey primer and coating idea, thanks. Still got some interesting pieces I always wanted grey anyway ;) I've been thinking on making an MKII on this one for a while, let's see what comes up. I like the reference you make regarding the heat plating, solid reason for keeping them put! Options...
Quoting Jason Trickett Thanks, I actually had to use a grey primer. it was the only thing i could find to match the LEGO grey. Then i did an acrylic clear coat. Oh there are also some pieces that i did with some light black shadow lines to recreate the hull flex areas, but i ended up not using most of them in the final product. That being said i think your ship kind of looks better with the darker grey in the (I'm assuming) bridge/cockpit section. It is similar to the ablative hull sections on trek ships or even the heat tiles on real world space craft. and it adds a focal point, so don't be too quick to paint it.

Too true, I think I've got some work ahead of me lol. Time to clean up the shed again! Great job on your Voyager btw, can't tell the difference anywhere.
Quoting Jason Trickett There is nothing wrong with painting bricks in my opinion; a light sand, plastic primer, and some semigloss grey or white. at least a quarter of Voyager is painted. Who really needs all those old red roof tiles and 2x1 speedometers.

Yeah, true. I've already sanded these ones as they had the old alien markings on there. Thinking about spraying them white, or would that be blasphemy? lol. And thanks!
Quoting Michael Rutherford Great size and shape. Love the interiors, the hallway and the rear airlock. Oh but this makes my heart cry out for white saucer sections! Well done. Attack

Quoting Lars Kumpfert Really great design! Its from Star Wars? Ive never seen a ship like that, but I truly doesnt know the saga so well.
Thnx Lars, it's no official SW ship. Just a moc in my own extended universe ;) I just used the emblem and troopers.

Quoting Jason Trickett If I had time I would comment on all of your ships, so this pertains too all of them. There are a lot if excellent modelers and also a lot of buliders with original ideas but you, sir, are both. Not to mention the excellent photos and editing. Beautiful work all around.
Well thanks Jason! I'm honoured! Words like that are awesome and certainly motivating :)

Quoting Mister Lego ~ Brilliant photo editing, I love that main picture! However, I think I like the ship even better! The shape itself looks really cool, I also like the interior. The turrets are also very well done. Best ship I've seen in a while :)

Quoting silly productions all around perfect, one of my favorite medium scale "ships". i love the interior, only thing that i could see is being better, would be a dark grey instead of the light grey, for a little better contrast, but still, you took a lot of time on this and it is a beautiful ship!
Aye, agreed. Wish those sloped parts came in dark grey, haven't seen them around tho. I'm honoured, thanks for your comment :)

Thank you all for taking time to comment. I'm very glad you like it. It's one of the bigger things I've built, it needed a place.. unfortunately it was catching dust on top of a shelf. It just needed to be eternalized through picture before it went from white to yellow right :D
