Thought I'd take a break on a long weekend to post something of a Sig-Fig. He actually kind of looks like me. Slightly disheveled, fairly unshaven, a bit sardonic, and enjoying life nonetheless. Hope you enjoy as well!
About this creation

As you can see, I am 6 feet tall.

matt- "Hey Chris, how's it going?"

Chris- "Hey Matt, it's goin' well. TURN TO THE RIGHT!"

Not sure how this keeps happening to me.

But, it's a good thing that I have a beautiful and understanding wife that puts up with me.

Back to me now, I am a chaser. No, not the quiddich variety. I do all the metal work in a bronze art foundry. I pour the molten metal and grind out all the imperfections. I weld up any "negatives" and texture the piece so it doesn't look like I was even there. It's a brutal job but I really do enjoy it.

I also work on small engines like this Stihl chainsaw. This job is alright. I find that I have more trouble with "the nut between the handle and the ground" than I do the actual piece of equipment. It's especially fun when the customer blames me for them putting straight fuel in their 2-cycle or water in their gas. joy.

Sometimes after particularly joyful days, I go drinking with my good friend Heath.

matt- "Why does my mouth taste like cotton candy and shoe?"

Heath- "I can't hear you over the streep sweeter."

matt- "The what?"

matt- "Dude, where's your pants?"

Heath- "Uhhh... Matt?"

matt- "What? Oh, for crying out loud!"

matt- "Seriously? 'Little people', AGAIN!?!"

Heath- "Why does this keep happening? No more Wiser's. No more Wiser's. No more Wiser's"

Anyways, as you can see, I'm still 6 feet tall.

matt- "Hey Chris."

Chris- "Hey Matt. TURN TO THE RIGHT!"

matt- "Guess I'll go call my wife."

Chris- "Speed dial number 4."

Submitted for your approval and assault. Feel free to use and abuse this guy to your heart's content. He can take it. Be forewarned: He can dish it back as well. ;)

Nothing fancy about the parts:
Red, backwards hardhat
Any unshaven face with a smirk and a criminal glint in his eye
Black shirt (helps disguise my awesome physique)
Dark blue pants/jeans
And any tool for an accessory. I'm always fixing things.

Have fun and play well!

Quoting Scott Johnson Ooh I just had an idea what color hair does your siggy have?
Well, I actually have long blonde hair tied in a ponytail down to my mid-back so anything along those lines would be alright. It's why I wear a hat. The work I do doesn't play well with long hair. ;)

Quoting Topsy Creatori (StoveTopCreator!) Okay, Matt, cute sig-fig! But inquiring minds like mind see the facial hair and read your reply about having a long pony tail, and we think... 'that sig-fig never takes its hat off.' So... IS there a full head of hair on the top underneath that hat... hee, hee?! :)
Yeaaah, it's there. Long, wavy, blonde hair down to my mid back. Thing is, every 5 or 6 years I buzz it off so I figured a hat would be a bit more consistent. No receding hairline, yet; although I noticed the other day that my facial hair had a bunch of grey in it. Seemed to happen quite suddenly too. Got a good laugh out of it. Thank you Topsy and I may someday post a shot of the full quaff. ;)

Quoting MCLegoboy ! Not bad, unique but not impossible to recreate. That's the problem with a lot of people's Siggies. They make them over the top with impossible parts because they use collectible minifigs and I don't buy those. 3 dollars or whatever for a fig I might not even want? Forget that. It's a better deal than what's on Bricklink, but I could get so many more pieces for just a few dollars more in a ploybag that comes with minifigs.
Thank you MC. I agree, I didn't want it to be impossible to duplicate. I want everyone to have fun with him. At my expense of course. ;)

Quoting David Roberts Great fun and excellent story telling. The Stihl chainsaw is perfect, just like mine :) The angle grinder is neat too. I like the parts list at the end. I didn't realise that Lego made a backwards minifig hard hat. I just have the forwards ones :p
Thank you David. Oh yeah, backwards. Very rare. I'm blessed because all mine are. XD Took the Stihl from Beatrix' room on the Ecosse, thought I'd give her the grinder as a thank you. She's very touchy about her tools. ;)

Quoting clayton Marchetti I swear I think I'm looking in a mirror ! I'm sporting about 4 days worth myself. I don't do hats though. It's funny I though your sig would be taller and covered in furr :-) . Cool fig kind of has that (the village people) men at work look! Ok I had my fun brother. This was great, we got to know a little more about you.
Well, I like long walks on the beach, poetry, and men who aren't afraid to cry. Wait... What? XD Actually I don't like hats myself but since my hair is down to my mid back in a ponytail, I have to keep it out of my face when I'm working. Machinery and long hair don't mix. I grow it out for about five or six years then I donate it. Getting close now. I have blonde hair, so I've been able to get away with not shaving since high school. Plus, the idea of taking a razor to my throat or an electric "face mower" doesn't sound appealing. BTW Chewy is hanging out in the back of the 'little people'. ;) Thank you Brother.
