A peaceful island with a violent surprise.
About this creation
Automata! The movement is key? Uhh...

I am going against a man who goes by the name and number of Delatron 3000. He has posted an entry in the same contest as me. Coincidence? I think not!

Also, I made a video about a boring and completely motionless island!

Music by Satyricon.

SURPRISE!!!

Nicely done, I love your rockwork, great eruption too. I could use some good rockwork in the close future, I might just turn to yours as a reference ;)

Quoting Delatron 3000 Deus, Chris commented on my build saying you have conceded even if offered a chance to be judged on your entry and I can see the comment below. Iím disappointed that you donít want to compete - I pushed myself in this round based on the calibre of the competition I was up against. To build for 10 days, stay up all night on Sunday as you must have done based on when you finally posted, only to miss the deadline by such a short amount of time, strikes me as really odd. So does your refusal to accept a second chance. Given how you write below about missing the deadline then I would have expected somebody as vocal as you are to at least ask for the chance to add your build to the group and certainly accept that chance if offered. It comes across as though you never really intended to compete, but if that were the case then why build it at all and then complain about missing the deadline? I cannot work it out, however your reasons are your own and I have to accept that. As far as your build, I think itís a great idea and the final Ďeruptioní of the orange studs looked superb on the video. I would have liked to see a single mechanism for the smoke, the rupturing and the lava effect but having played with functions for 10 days I can sympathise with the difficulties involved. It was certainly brave to build a mechanism that was a 1-shot Ďeffectí, forcing you to re-build it every time, and I would have liked to see some shots of the workings to get an idea of how you achieved everything, as well as maybe some more interest on the island. Great build though.
Why concede? Simple. I love to compete, and I was pretty sure I had a good chance to win the whole competition. What I do not want, on the other hand, is help. If I missed the deadline, that is it. Nobody deserves any different treatment than anybody else. At least not in a positive sense.

The pulsing lava spurt effect was quite superb! Sad to see that you conceded, it would have been a very interesting match to judge! Now if you had just build a dragon in a cave that was spurting up the lava... ;)

Wow! That is so cool. I loved when the volcano first started erupting and all of the smaller rocks tumbled down the side of the island.

Quoting David . Since when were you emo? I thought you just h@ted everything. Anywho, I think they should let it slide for ten minutes. :1 Nice entry anyways. :)
If they let it slide, I will concede.

Now that was cool. A volcano; I didn't see that one coming :-) The rock-work is great, and I don't know even how to begin to understand the mechanics inside. Good luck in the competition!

it looks great! you definitively have something for volcanos! missing the Olympics must make you erupt! do they give lego prizes? in any case, it does nt take away your talent! you will forget all about this when I build the mech arena, as main sponsor, you ll be proeminent, as should be! why? ...because I can! lol.

Quoting ~ Brick @Big D So you want to die or something!?! Mind giving me your bricks:D
Just lost MOCO by 10 minutes. I think I would like nothing more than give my bricks to someone who would not only build well with them, but also accomplish something doing so.
