So here we go one more time! It's the Stunticons built in LEGO LDD form again! I had a lot of fun "perfecting" these guys, and I hope you enjoy them!
About this creation
Ok before I get into the main parts of this creation - Motormaster's base mode! And it was by pure coincidence that his ramp ended up at the same height as his wheels! Love how that turned out!
Ok so first up vehicle modes front view! In order from left to right we have Breakdown, Drag Strip, Team Leader Motormaster, Wild Rider and Dead End. All 5 vehicles are built to mini figure scale - and just like my last version, Motormaster can store 2 mini figures inside his cabin (and they can be taken out due to panels that fold down on the insides of the cab), and this time around, Drag Strip can also seat 1 mini figure in the driver seat while in vehicle mode as well! (In robot mode it gets covered by the engine)
Vehicle modes side-view. Look at dem stripes. I actually got the stripes on there this time. Dem Stripes...
Another side-view, this time showing off Breakdown and Drag Strip. Again, dem stripes...
Quick shot of all the extra bits needed for this complete set. You'll notice all the Menasor parts as well as the vehicle mode weapons for the 4 limb bots. The robot mode weapons are also there - but they're hiding underneath the bigger vehicle weapons.
Vehicle modes! Arm up! (Due to Motormaster's robot hand being visible from atop the trailer - Menasor's large gun can "peg" into it and give Motormaster a vehicle weapons as well!)
Also, Motormaster/Menasor's large sword can "peg" in underneath on Motormaster's trailer in all modes (Robot/Vehicle/Menasor), if you wish it to do so.
And here we have the Robot modes! I find it funny how despite Drag Strip appearing to have the longest vehicle mode, he ends up with the shortest robot mode.
And now a robot mode slant-view to better show off all the weapons. Also - all dat articulation these guys got this time around. Motormaster in particular is quite posable, and I'm almost positive if this were a real set outside of LDD - due to his large feet (just like the original figure) he'd be able to stand in all kinds of funky poses.
All parts assemble! Ready to form MENASOR!!!! On a side note, in order for the Menasor formation to work this time around, 3 adapters are needed, 1 for Drag Strip to become an arm (its the black piece at the top-left), it pegs into Drag Strips legs, and then 2 adapters for Breakdown and Dead End to function as feet, that clips into the backs of their vehicle modes, they are the black and white pieces next to Dead End and Breakdown.
Menasor! Formation complete! And so here he is standing straight up and blocky, just like his G1 self.
But wait! There's more! HE HAS ARTICULATION TOO!!! Pretty much the only thing that can't move is his head.
So yeah this Menasor can swing dat sword and aim dat gun!
Bonus points! ALL FOUR LIMBS are scramble city! Like they are supposed to be!
And so, this is the final time I'm building the Stunticons, although some day I might individualy build Breakdown, Dead End and Wild Rider who are able to fit mini figures inside them, but don't combine. I am truly happy with how these guys turned out, and I hope you guys enjoy them.
