Topic: Gender Swap.
Take a piece of media, be it Batman, Sherlock Holmes or LOTR, and build a short story in which all the characters have swapped genders!

I have climbed every rock face on earth...

I can get any man I want despite what gravity has done to my body...

I Skydive from the edge of the atmosphere...

But nothing turns me on more than the command of a starship...
I am Admiral Jane T. Kirk ......

Star Trek Too (sort of) - THE WRATH OF CONNIE!
Captains Log: “USS Enterprise entering Gamma Hydra Sector near the Neutral Zone...”

Mr. Uhura: “Distress call from inside the Neutral Zone...sir.”

Captain Savik: “Technical Data on vessel, Ms. Sulu?”
Ms. Sulu: “USS Kobayashi Maru – Freighter, carrying designer shoes and 500 passengers to the Beta Quadrant..." NOOOOOOOOOOOO! We must save those shoes...I mean people"

Ms. Spock: “May I remind the Captain of Neutral Zone Treaty?..”
Captain Savik: “Noted! Sound Pink Alert! ....Raise shields, plot an intercept course, prepare sickbay for casualties”

Ms Spock: “Approaching Kobayashi Maru... we are now in violation of Neutral Zone Treaty”

Mr Simms: “Two Klingon cruiser de-cloaking sir... they’re firing, it was a trap”
Mrs. Scott (via Comlink): “Main reactor overloading....we’re dead in space!”
Captain Savik. “All hands abandon ship...All hands abandon Ship!....”

Admiral Kirk “Computer end simulation.....Lt. What do you have to say for yourself”

Savik: “This was not a fair test of my command abilities”
Admiral Kirk: “ a no win situation is always a possibility”

Savik: “Respectively Sir, If I may ask how did you do on this test”

Kirk:” You may ask..” (wink wink) ....my professor gave me a commendation for original thinking and I gave him ...well....nevermind.” cadets dismissed.

Ms Spock: “A word Admiral” Kirk: “Of Course Captain”
Kirk: “It was the best of times, it was a the worst of times?” “A Book Spock? ....I really could have used a pair of Spanx”
Ms. Spock: “Happy Birthday Jane...see you aboard the Enterprise at 01:00 for Inspection and Shakedown”

01:03 Hours: "Admiral on the Bridge!" Kirk: “I’ve seen enough lets see what this puppy can do!”

Ms. Spock – “Take her out Mr. Savik!” “Mr., Ms., whatever,... Sulu you may indulge yourself.”

02:02 Hours: Mr Uhura: “Sir picking up a Federation ship in our sector – Its Reliant Sir, she’s claiming her warp coil has overloaded her communications array!”

Kirk: “Reliant?....She shouldn’t be in our Sector – she should be in the Beta Quadrant working on the Eve project. Try hailing her again!”
Uhura: “No response sir but they are raising shields!

Kirk: “Raise ours!”

Spock: “Too Late!”

Sulu: "She's Firing on us!".....

Phaser Fire hitting key systems....

and Engineering...

Kirk: “They knew exactly were to hit us” Spock: "But who are they?"
Uhura: "Enemy commander is singnalling terms of our surrender."
Kirk: "Put them on screen!"

Kirk: "Connie?"

Connie: "Ah, I am touched that you remember me! You have 1 minute to surrender! Or on my next pass I will destroy you and your ship!"

Kirk: "Spock we have one chance!" Spock: "The Prefix Code?" Kirk: "The Prefix Code!"

Kirk: "Mr Savik Punch up Reliant's Data Charts. Hurry!" Spock: "Assuming she hasn't changed the code!" "She is very intelligent and quite angry with you!"

Kirk: "Signaling our surrender Now Connie! – Mr. Savik The Code!"

Connie: "Meh, Guess I must've changed the code - but before I destroy you do you remember a Dr. Markus? .......My husband?"

Kirk: "Oops! maybe a little too much Kirking around back then!"

Connie: "I've changed my mind; Your ship is deprived of power, you are beaten .......And now I will leave you as you left me - alone, miserable, depressed, eating Hagen Daas and with a house full of cats! Beam over the cats and the ice cream!" (Maniacal Laugh!) Oh by the way you look like you need some work!, I'll send you over my plastic surgeons card as well!"

Kirk: CONNIE!!!!!!!!

FIN

Builders Notes: Like Justin I need to get on my way to family events, its the Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend and I did not get to do everything I wanted to do for this entry. I did add the Starfleet tunic decals (OK'd by Mr Phispon) to authenticate the minifigs since obviously TLG does not have this theme. For those old school Trekkers you will see a lot of gender bent old school Trek for the younger bunch you may miss a lot of the humour. This MOC consisted of many builds: 3 Mini Starship models, where I tried to capture the look of each ship with a minimum number of parts, Multiple Starfleet officers, the rock face, pool and Orion slave boy scene, 90210 plaque and most importantly the pinked out bridge of the USS Enterprise paying homage to the original ST: Wrath of Kahn Movie Set. There was NO photo-shopping in this presentation. I was very happy with this new bridge design and may "man it up" along with depinkifying the mini ship builds and keeping them in tact! Hope you got a little giggle and no malice was intended through this little spoof to anybody especially my middle age female counterparts or to you Mr. Takei!

Quoting Delatron 3000 Congrats on the win Chris, you absolutely nailed the category and there is a lot to like here. A man after my own heart, building a whole scene just for one gag (the Orion slave boy) and the humour is excellent. When I started reading I wondered if you were going to do the whole film it was that faithful! Well done.

Quoting Mr. Xenomurphy Brilliant take on the category, Chris. As an old Star Trek fan (and an old geezer) I got all the jokes. But it was the design that convinced me to give you my vote. Congrats.

Quoting David Alexander Smith From the moment I clicked on this it had win written all over it. Your pink bridge and careful inversion of the genders is fantastic. I'd actually love to see an episode of classic trek where this happened. Connie is a little scary too. You get my vote.

Quoting David Roberts I love the micro-scale Enterprise. I think that it's a lot neater and smoother than many of the other versions on MOCpages. I also like how true you've stayed to the plot of the film, with se tweaks of course!
