Link to the original: Deaskuth

Now, to the actual MOC:

Sorry about the bad pics, I'm still trying to figure out how to use a black background correctly.

Feedback appreciated.

Quoting Stormjay Rider Anyway, pretty close to the original, but why no Mata blue? 8 from me.
I have very little Mata blue, and I prefer trans-light blue anyway. Still, thanks for the score.

This is a really good revamp. Although aesthetically I like the original better, I think the design on this MOC is almost flawless. I do think, however, that the arms look kinda wimpy compared to the rest of the MOC, and I liked Deaskuth's color scheme better with Mata-blue instead of the lighter blue :P I guess that's just me though. Good job, if I was a judge, I'd give you a 7.5. :)

Definatley done better than the original. Love the usage of the light trans-blue to replace the mata blue of the orignal. Liking the style and overal asthetics of this guy but there are a few oddities. The shoulder armour is a bit high and the chest armour makes it a bit wide. Also the arms seem hardly armoured and the back is very flat. It is a nice moc overal though so a score of about 7 for this one.

Nice! Definitely an 8 from me. I like the overall shaping and the way you captured the feel of the original so well.

Quoting Stormjay Rider You don't have a working link to the contest or to the original...
I tried to put a link to the homepage. I used proper link format, but it disappeared for some reason. I didn't see any rule about a link to the original. Can I edit the page to include them?

I dont know...the arms are to skinny, and hardly have armor, his legs and body seem tall compared to the arms. The legs are blank on the back also. It is a nice revamp, I love that grey bohrok shield on his chest though! Overall...hmmm, that is hard. I'll have to say a...7. Yep, a 7 it is. :)

I like it quite a bit. I think my only complaints would be the lack of Lateral bicep movement, and that I think the shoulders aren't quite as wide as I like, but since I've never seen the original, I suppose I have no room to talk. Very nice, though.
